Happy to read that you are coming full circle and finding some happiness in your life again.. It was tough to read your anger, hurt and rejection so I know it must have been a heck of a lot worse for you (since you were feeling it).

On the island of Paros, near the port, is a tree that stood near a wonderful souvlaki stand. We named it the souvlaki tree. Greece has beautiful trees...not to mention the ruins ( I love the Temple of Hephaestus). I took Classic Greek Mythology in college and LOVED IT. Herakles.....was cool. So is freshed squeezed lemonade.

Yes...Kalni....that was the place. EXCELLENT Souvlaki. There also used to be a restaurant on Santorini that served one family style meal, meaning, no menu. You sat down and were fed whatever was on the family cooked that night. I think it was called Nick's.

On Mykonos....you know...there are those 3 beaches. I learned for the first time that there and good things and bad things about seeing naked bodies. LOL.

There was one really great wine I liked on Paros...it was called Mavrothira......mmmmmmm. The wines.......
