(((Handsome)))) (((Michelle))))

I'm going to 'use' the plumber to investigate my pipework of course!

I haven't heard anything from H, but wonder if I will this week since it's my birthday. Anyone care to place a bet? I'm thinking he'll forget and then disappear for weeks on end into a shame-filled fug of guilt about it.

I had a lovely lunch and afternoon with BFF yesterday, a bit too much wine perhaps, but it was good. And drinks every night for the rest of the week. Hopefully my liver will be able to handle the pace. Tonight I'm making a pre-emptive strike by trying to eat lots of brocolli. Yum!

Good to see you around... I think H will send a card or something. He was always good at these things, no?

How is lovely CEO? Still jealous?

Good to see you too- I've missed you!

H was always brilliant at birthdays and anniversaries, so yes, it'd be surprising if he did nothing at all. On the other hand, it would be different if he forgot. Maybe it would prove to me that I can't predict his behaviour!

Lovely CEO is.... still lovely. Last Friday he was leaving in a hurry and he said goodbye quickly. I kind of thought nothing of it because after a year of dealing with a crisis type WAH a quick goodbye isn't much to worrk about. CEO, on the other hand, must have found it distressing because he called me half an hour later because he'd said goodbye too quickly and he wanted to say goodbye nicely and tell me to take care of myself. I've never had a boss who did that before, LOL! Come to think of it, even my H doesn't do that ;\)

Today he called me very sweetly in the afternoon to see how I was and to offer to help me with the refurbishment at home and to choose a new digital camera. Apparently he spent a lot of time at the weekend finding out about what would be the best type for me. He spent ages on the phone saying nothing (literally saying nothing, as opposed to saying this and that). Then he spent ages saying goodbye to me and saying he was going to be seeing me tomorrow in any case (?). Must have missed me, the poor thing. I said I was looking forward to it (it's really like a slow death in my new office) and he sounded very pleased about that.

Mwahahahahahaha!! (with evil hand rubbing). The flirtee becomes the flirter and he gets a taste of his own medicine.

I've done a little plumbing in my time.... put a bathroom in a basement we finished years ago.

I think your guess about H and your birthday is most likely right, though I'd prefer Kalni to be right!

Broccoli is pretty good! Far superior to eggplant, anyway! \:\)

((((Jeff))))

I broke the aubergine hex yesterday night and cooked it for the first time in 2 years! I was laughing about it to myself because I'd had the aubergine for 4 days and was thinking it'd be scary to handle it...... but it wasn't too bad in the end!

Note to self- Jeff is good at pipework ;\)

Ok, am I the only one that sees this? CEO is SO in love with you Lisa! I swear, he's all but falling over himself about it but won't make a move. You must seriously intimidate him for a major alpha-male type not to throw caution to the wind and just take you out already (or take you in other ways we won't go into....). WOW! If a man ever made any kind of effort to just help me figure out something that was 'the best type for me' I would probably be tripping over myself showing him my eternal gratitude. What in the heck is your magic potion L? Do share! \:\) Us poor slobs could use some pointers (notice...only calling myself a poor slob, not attaching the slovenly title to anyone else here!).
