Lisa,

Congratulations on the crow!! That pose is hard!!!!! I am so excited that you are doing yoga, I didn't realize that you had done it before too.

keep us in the loop about CEO, etc. What does this mean that your offices will be miles apart?

love,
T

anti-crow.. the 'corpse'??? One where you just.. lie down for ages!??

Lisa, thanks for the update, sounds like you have been thinking through your strategy with CEO.. I understand what you are saying about the job market.. but would you really have to leave if you said something? Can you not just say something AND stay working there!!?? I had no intentions of leaving my (very good) job when I spoke up to my team leader. That was OM though, an EA, so I'm not proud of it, I'm just saying.

Sorry you havent heard from H, you had said previously you were proud of the fact that you had managed to stay friends, but perhaps he is not capable of that right now (guilt?). Do you expect him to have to contact you once he gets the D papers (they have just gone to him havent they?)

I tried the crow.. it hurt..alot... I am now broken...need to go lie down...

xxx

Wow! It's all been happening here. I'm glad you guys have been enjoying the crow! I have super-weak arms so it's doing me the world of good trying to hold it!

GFI- welcome to my thread- it's really nice to see you here!

Al- I actually didn't realise when I posted but H had sent me an e-mail the day before I think we are friends- I definitely don't expect to hear from all my friends every few days/every week or even every two weeks, so not hearing from H is fine. He asked me if I wanted to meet up this week or next and said that it'd be good to see me. And a couple of paragraphs about...... (wondering if anyone who's been following my story can guess what's coming??!!!)......football! I don't think he's had the papers yet- hopefully I can warn him they're coming next week.

That's all my news really. The big office move is on Sunday. naej- it's not just me and CEO, there's also going to be a guy from the new office helping, but CEO and I are working in the afternoon after moving. Fun weekend in store for me ;\)

T- hello! How are you Lovely? In the old office CEO and I sat about 2 meters away from each other. Now he's about 25 meters away and round a corner, and I'm behind a big pillar. In between there are people from our parent company who all work together. It's just a bit of a wierd arrangement because there was a nice family feel in the old office and this is much more industrial feeling and impersonal. I'm sure I'll get used to it and it'll probably be good for my equilibrium!

Julia- imagine the weediest tenor out of all (4!) of them. It's not the woman one, BTW!

How are you guys? I hope you're all OK and will check up everyone's thread over the weekend. And thankyou everyone for visiting (K, LT, VH, GFI, naej, Julia, Al, and T!)

L. xx

Oh, that makes more sense! Lol!! The way you described the office situation before it sounded like maybe you were actually going to be in different buildings or something.

Hi there Lisa -thanks for the welcome!

Seems Ali has gone one better than the Crow! Check out her thread!

Office moves are great and weird at the same time -when I got my current job I instigated about 3 moves within as many months - good to get new perspectives on such a humdrum part of our lives though!

Hope your w/e is panning out well...

Yeah, ha ha, my pose is known as "The Roman" !!! ;\)

Oh that is good news then about H, like you said you hadnt mentioned that, it sounded like he had kind of dropped contact with you since the D conversation. I wonder how he will feel when he gets the papers then? Did you name the aub in the end?

My ex has finally stopped discussing football with me now, apart from the odd mention when he actually plays. Phew! What is it with yours, mine and K's H and football !?? Men tsk.

Shame about being moved to so far from CEO.. my BFF is sudying pyschology and she says the biggest factor in two people getting together in life is.. proximity.

Rats! Quick, cant you move desks??

Just to complete this "half-baked" convo - sorry Lisa:-

"Is it half North? that why they drink half and halves, they can't manage a full pint of bitter-ooohhhhhhhhh. "!!!

Probably!!! Us Midlands folks have a real "identity issue" - like Old King Cole - neither up nor down -so we have to settle for appeasing both!!!

Cheers! Simon

I agree with "Roman Ali" - as a former student of that particular "ology" that is right...but I would do my discipline a dis-service if I did not also mention that there are also many "confounding" variables which must be taken into account!!!
