I was in your shoes a little over six years ago. I hope the package they gave you is a good one. Do take advantage of all of the outplacement help they offer to help with resume writing, interviewing skills and practice, etc. We'll understand if you go quiet for a while...

Thanks Rob and everyone, Yes Sara and day there is a "package" but I am still in shock and did not really hear anything they told me after the "your position has been eliminated". I asked about the system I am was asked to build for the UK last week and he said I will be employed until January so I can still build it.(don't recall if it's Jan 1st or 30th..
At least the test for cancer came back negative.. I would rather have that then have kept my job but had cancer....
And this too shall pass... oh wait that was yesterday...
