I LOVED the land of make believe. Forget Picture Picture, Mr. McFeely, and the changing of shoes, I was ALL ABOUT seeing the little train come because that meant King Friday, Tuesday, and all of those wonderful make believe characters.

I watched it recently with my son and it doesn't have the same feeling....definitely a KID show!

Actually it is probably from my Dad. He would always think up avctions games for us to play when I was a kid. He is such a big kid himself!! I sometimes finding myself making up silly stories or pranks to play with them but my Dad has me beat.

Had a terrible day work wise yesterday and I brought myself out of the funk by playing a bunch of music and dancing and singing along. I felt like a kid again and so much stress just disappeared.

Today, so far so good but I catch myself singing little snippets of Fleetwood Mac here and there.:) Also can't be a bad day if we get to see McDreamy right?

I am doing pretty good actually. I had a strange conversation with my "best" friend last night. I have been trying to help her get a job here. Anyway she had made a mistake on her contact information and was getting upset with me that they didn't look at her other information to get her correct information,

I am not in HR and not really sure how they do some of this stuff, but if your contact info is wrong, I don't know how much extra time they are going to spend on you. I worded it tactfully to my friend. However she just wouldn't let it go. The more she talked, the more I thought about how she always seems to want the scoop on my life, just the dirt please. She usually just calls when she wants something and S16 has even said why do you talk to her when she just makes you feel bad about you and dad.

I am "cleaning house" including relationships and I am torn if it is time to let her go. If we just get together once and a while I guess it is fine but I don't think I will actively seek her out anymore. I don't need it. Plus she wants to know what is happening with flirt guy(she knows him too) and I don't think I want to share it with her, especially if it becomes something more.

We have been "best" friends for a long time but I think it has ran it's course.

ps. She even sounded taken aback when I said I was fine. I mean the earth has been falling all around me for quite a while, she should be thrilled for me that I said I was fine.
