Great day today. Saw the C, plus D9 did also. Did 4 more hours of walking today. Then dinner and play rehearsal.

Too funny. Talking to one of my theatre friends and she told me she works at that animal hospital as a kennel tech, the same one I interviewed with a few weeks ago and the same job. I pointed at her and said how long have you had that job? thinking she got the job I wanted. Turns out she worked there for the past 3 years, and she said the 17 year old he hired is horrible, doesn't do anything, and is already taking 2 weeks off the next 2 weeks so my friend has to fill in for her. She said one of the other people that works there (not the vet that I'm also friends with) but another woman saw me when I went in, and said there was a woman in her 30's I wish he'd hired her. Not knowing it was me (and she thought I was in my 30's! \:\) ). So too funny. She said she's going to give her boss (the guy that didn't hire me) a hard time tomorrow that he didn't hire me. \:\)

Then I had a great rehearsal, and the director told me afterward that I look so much better, and am singing really confident, and sounded great. I didn't realize it but last year when I was in the play I was still kind of faking it and going through so much, but now I really do feel good most of the time. Karen

Another great day today! I helped out on my 1st catering job and I have to say: it rocked!!! Pays pretty well, was fun, and they gave me about 10 lbs. of food from the reception to take home. Giant bags of food. The kids will be so excited. I had so much fun, although the others were saying that wears off!

Then my 4 hours of walking, and I've just done a tiny bit of housework. Maybe a little more, and then bed! I can't wait!!! My life is so boring...I know!

I started out the day by dropping the kids off (at our halfway point) this am around 9. I was feeling irritated about that b/c it was an extra 45 minutes of driving right before my new catering job today, but it worked out ok. And I was thinking that is so typical of my H: he's so determined to have me drive half, he prob. had to wake up an hour or 2 early to meet us halfway, and I'm sure OW loved that!!! \:\) So there does always seem to be a silver lining. Still eating catered food! \:\) The kids were excited, well D9 really was when she saw all the food--and I'm sure S15 will eat his share.

H drove up in either a rental car or OW's car, I didn't ask. I walked out to check & make sure OW wasn't on my property or I would have kicked her a**. Not really prob., but hopefully it would have been something fun and dramatic I could have shared with y'all. \:\) I asked him if his car had broken down (it's on its last legs 15 years+) and when he said yes, I said I'm sorry. I asked him when the court hearing is tomorrow, guess I should have called the L, but I just saved prob. $50 by just asking him.

I'm having a weak moment. Tempted to email H and say thanks for watching the kids Saturday and Sunday night, instead of his usual Friday night & Sat. I would with anyone else, but maybe I shouldn't as I'm trying to be NC as much as possible? Karen

I wouldn't send that e-mail. Sleep on it, if you still want to send it tomorrow, go ahead.

Karen, I wouldn't send it either, anyone else is not their father! Its not babysitting when they are your kids...

And don't worry about your boring life, we have all lived in a soap opera for a while, so don't we deserve some boredom? My friend asked me when I got so OLD last night! Because I was too tired for the bar.

Glad to hear you are doing so well.

You both are right!!! And H also when he dropped off the kids dropped off a bag of dirty laundry (the kids). So you're right.

I have to say, this is weird, but H has seemed like a distant remote stranger or angry guy mostly the last 2 years. Today I saw a little glimpse of the old guy, which was weird. He was acting normal and seemed a little down. His car broke down and so maybe a little bit of reality for him. I'm also wondering if OW has realized the "prize" she has in H. You know what I mean, the balding, going through bankruptcy and foreclosure, and he's grown a beard the last couple weeks and it was straggly today. Can't wait what the L says about that tomorrow! I think in time he's probably going to regret our D more than me, so I oddly feel a little sad for him, but not too sad!!! \:\) Karen

Is he starting to look like mine??? That would be so funny if this was TV and not our lives. I need to get out some more and hopefully will try to do a couple of get togethers with friends. At least you are meeting new people, getting in shape and making some money. All positives in my book!

OK, I had the worst DB day of my year today! The hearing was set for this afternoon re: evaluating the kids and I thought the mortgage, but the L said she didn't have time to add that on to the hearing. So I was like I agree to the evaluations so why even have a hearing? In frustration, I called H (ok how dumb can someone be?) and he was yelling at me when i told him that and he said I've never wanted the kids evaluated and I said BS, but full out and then he hung up on me. We're so mature, huh?

Then my L calls me back 10 minutes later and spoke to H's L and they did cancel the hearing. Yeah, if you both agree why have a hearing!!! (We need a smiley with rolling eyeballs to insert here).

So I just have to bring the L some paperwork, finish out the last 2 hours of my pt job, and then TKD. I sent an email to H apologizing for bothering him b/c I thought the hearing was a waste of time and money, and I won't do it again. (which I won't and please bring out all the 2x4's in the country on me if I do that again!!! Karen
