Well I had my pre-trial today, she is out of town and didn't attend so I didn't either. Our lawyers met and discussed our case with the judge. I guess it's like a progress report if you will.
I don't know the details yet, for now I'll be waiting to hear from her lawyer's response to mine. Back and forth back and forth. What a freakin racket. $5 a page faxes, $5 copies, $75 dollar a page letters, $250 meetings, the list goes on and on.
There are two winners in this deal but it aint me and it aint my wife.
I'm done ranting now.
She said she is calling me tomorrow to see how things are going.
My aunt and cousin have offered to watch the kids for a while so I could go out to eat or do something for a while tomorrow night, I might...I don't know I haven't decided yet.
trapt, going back and forth with the lawyers is indeed agonizingly slow. It does beat out having to let a judge decide or time in court which takes more legal hours.
Agree with KerryK....my financial appraisal has now dragged out nearly 4 months with 2-3 adjournments. It's killing me. Be thankful for the little things.
Having some private time is a good thing. You need a little bit of time for yourself.

I see a different person when I read your posts now. I see a strong person who is finally living for himself. You are not letting the little things get you down anymore. You're doing great dude!!!
I let a few other things get me down these past couple of weeks but I have made it through. There will be more ups and downs to come.
I just need to keep my balance and continue pressing forward. Enjoy life for what it is and I do believe not too long ago (I may have to search a bit) someone already said she was going to do this.
