A lot of divorced couples that I have known have come to this agreement.

The custodial parent remains in the house until both kids turn 18 or the parent remarries, then the house is sold. The parent living in the house would be responsible for the house payment.

If you did this it would be a win-win situation. First of all perhaps you could refinance and get a lower payment and not have to uproot the kids. Second by the time your daughter reaches 18 maybe the housing market would have improved by then and you could ask for a higher selling price.

Of course we know that your husband is not being reasonable, but maybe you could get your lawyer to try to negotiate something like this. I don't think I would discuss it with your H, just go straight to you lawyer.

Unreal that he is not concerned that the kids won't have a place to live. We both know that he does not want the kids full time! It would take away his "me" time

I'm going to do that asap. I've got the job interview tomorrow and then my temp job boss wants me to work my 4 hours after so will be busy most or all of tomorrow, but should be able to see her Thursday am I guess.

I kind of don't understand his reasoning anymore, I mean even less than I used to. I also feel like I'm starting to hate him, which I really never wanted to do. But there it is. Rehearsal tonight; hopefully that'll cheer me up. Karen

Well job interview this am. Really nice people but they wanted somseone full-time which I told them I'm not able to do at this point. If the kids wind up going to public school, I'll have to reapplly there b/c it looked nice, everyone was friendly, and they were all walking for fitness and stuff like that.

I saw the L and gave her the email from H. She's going to add on the mortgage issue when we go to hearing next week. So we'll see and I'll keep trying to find an affordable place that allows pets which I haven't been able to so far!

Oh, comments from L were he's a control freak, disgusting, and a slimeball I think was the other one. Yeah, pretty much.

Well gotta go walk for 4 hours now. I was wearing a tight tshirt and jeans today on the way to the L (she lives down the street) and the cookie guy (you remember him?) drove by and his jaw was like hitting the floor and the friendliest greeting I've ever gotten. \:\) Karen

That walking is doing you wonders I bet! No wonder why cookie guy noticed. ;\) Is the walking getting easier to handle? I was outside for a bit yesterday and felt as if the allergy monster attacked me. Itchy eyes, runny nose, you name it. It has gotten so much worse as I have gotten older.

Hope you notice more guys falling at your feet!

I still have blisters but I'm in better shape and can walk now for 4 hours without being in a lot of pain. So I'm in better shape. I usually don't wear tight clothes plus I see the cookie guy in church usually, so that's prob. why he was surprised.

H dropped the kids off and I decided to wear the tight red shirt and jeans to the pickup/dropoff, makeup, perfume, etc., just for fun and good PMA. \:\) He gave me another notice from the mortgage company, I don't know why exactly, I guess just fyi.

Doesn't do you a lot of good if he won't even help you on it. I am glad you are able to keep your spirits up. I need to go do wii fit if I ever get off the computer! ;\)

What do you think of the wii fit, Kat? I almost got that last Christmas, but I had gotten an elliptical off of craigslist for 50 bucks that I haven't used yet....oops......
