HHHMMM Has anyone ever been to Luray Caverns??? I am thinking about taking the kids up for a trip the week after my birthday. I thought we could go to the Caverns, the maze, and the Carriage museum, as well as check out a few other things around the area. Any suggestions?

I finally watched Fireproof for the first time last night. what a movie!! if nobody saw me cry, then i didn't cry ...right? LOL

I spoke with a friend who has been up to the caverns and she said to go to the area, but go to a different set--Luray is over-commercialized. I am taking it under advisement, as she has three boys around the same ages as the littles. I do know that there is a huge garden maze that D9 would love and a car and carriage museum that S3 would freak out over. So, even if we do not do the caverns, we have other options. The hotels are really reasonable this time of year, too.

I am so glad you finally got to see Fireproof! It is wonderful! I knew it would touch you deeply. The message is so clear and timely for our world that is in such chaos. Someday, hopefully soon, I can share the movie with DH.

I am going to get some new experience with power tools. I have things I want to get done--decor things--and they involve hanging brackets, some sanding, and the like. I am not comfortable asking my friends' husbands and not comfortable asking my single male friends, either. I do not want any impropriety to be construed in my actions. My mom will help me and she is always a big help for this kind of stuff. She and I just talked about a couple of the projects and she gave me some great ideas on how to work on them.

D9 has been here all week this week. We are going to paint her bedroom over the next week or so, pick out some new linens and curtains, and make it her space. Hopefully it will encourage her to keep it clean, too.

Things are going good here. Nothing new and exciting to report, just living life for God and His Glory.
