Nothing here to make me leave. I have been spending alot of time here during my work day, perhaps not the best idea in the current or any economy, you know?
Now...if I got paid for it ; )
No just a miscommunication post and one that I was not offended by, we tend to get more upset when we think our friends are being slighted, more so than we think we are.
Not leaving leaving yet, I always wonder if this is the time I feel my debt is paid? And none of you can answer that for me, so don't. : )

No I am one of the lucky ones because I grew for me. Nothing f-ing lucky about it. I didn't win the lottery I did hard work, still do.
Not trying to be trite, but I want you to understand this isn't like finding $20 on the street, this isn't magic. You do the work and you have a better chance with your wife. You do the work and you are a better person. You do the work and this whole crappy mess actually becomes worth it.
Or sit there mope, worry and bemoan and lose a year or two off your life.
One is simple the only choice that makes sense.

There once was a man named Jack. Jack_Three_Beans Jack_Three_Beans Member
Registered: 01/25/06 Posts: 6102 Over the last several weeks Jack had been spending more and more time with his wife.
Doing things they once did, doing things they wanted to but never got around to. Hanging out, and talking.
Oh, the occasional ‘relationship’ talk would come up, but both Jack and his wife knew how to talk about it now. With gentle words and responding back, “This is what I heard you say...is that right?”
Jack’s wife is enjoying herself with Jack, and his company, though she still likes ‘her’ time her alone time.
The OM, still in the picture, not over at her house though. Sometimes stops by her work, sometimes calls her, not sleeping over though.
Jack and his wife have had relations again, with passion instead of the going through the motions. Doing laundry will bring a smile to Jack’s face.
This last weekend, Jack and his wife had a wonderful time. Once long ago this would have been a high point, a good memory. A hockey game after Jack’s wife got off of work, Their little ones were taken care of and being watched over. Coffee afterwards, talking, nothing serious, playing a video game with each other until 5 am. Going to sleep until 10:30, just sleep. Getting up quiet talking and coffee, Jack went back to his house and got the boys and brought them back to his wife’s house, where they spent the day, playing and doing little projects.
Jack admitted that it felt a little strange, it wasn’t his house so he couldn’t really do anything, he couldn’t clean or occupy himself, so he played with the boys and he and his wife did crosswords, something they used to do, and his wife bought a big book of them in hopes of doing them again with Jack.
She had asked him if anything was bothering him and he answered honestly, “Yes, OM calling on Friday night, to see how you were doing, and to chit-chat…” She had gone through her messages in front of him at coffee that morning, and told him who had called and why…something she did on her own. “I am bothered by his persitance…I mean anyone else would have caught the clue by now.” She responded, “One would think so.”
Jack responded, “I believe you, wife” She smiled deeply and thanked Jack.
Jack’s wife was sleepy after only 5.5 hours of sleep, so he suggested that she could lie down for 20 minutes. He would wake her. He played with the boys a little more and woke her with a kiss on her forehead and ear. She smiled Jack said it seemed a nicer way to wake you up than shaking you. She agreed.
Jack turned to leave and she caught his arm and hugged him and whispered the words he had been longing to hear for such a long time. Magic words without any prompting.
“I love you.”
Jack crashed. He didn’t know what to say, he almost asked her to repeat herself. Long seconds ticked by…
‘Ummm. Heh yeah I love you too. Ok I’ll see you later.”
He gathered up his youngest son…Jack and his wife each decided that Sunday night after Family day they would each take turns with one of their boys for one on one time. And Jack and Jax went home.
Jack noticed and has noticed for the last few weeks that something has happened to his wife’s eyes. They have softened, not all the time, not for good, if she talks about something she doesn’t enjoy or like…they are crystal hard shards, but around him, most of the time they are engaging warm and inviting.
Jack knows many heroes here, he doesn’t think of himself in such a way, he is nothing more than a man who does what he has to do and has many friends to help him. He knows about tunnels and traps.
Jack knows that yesterday was yesterday and Saturday was Saturday. He doesn’t want to learn the lesson of the tunnels the hard way, and so far he isn’t. He is enjoying the moments he has. He has learned to learn from others and heed their warnings as he moves across the landscape.
To all of you who have gone before and warned others,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart, I have listened and learned your lessons well. My expectations are nil, my journey is mine and my wife’s journey is far from over. This is just a pleasant picnic area to enjoy and linger for a time until the journey continues.
I stand today, I shall stand tomorrow.
Thank you.
