I guess everyone is different and they meet different people, but I haven't met anyone who has confessed to me that they want to return. Its been my experience that most people would live in lice before they admitted doing wrong.

I have started working out 5 days a week.

I am working more to better help the family out financially.

I have started to eat more healthy

The house is so much cleaner

I actually can go for about an hour without one thought of ex.

I am looking more toward my future than back at my past.

Life is good.

Sounds like you are working out like a mad woman by the sounds of your thread title! LOL Its great therapy! Talk about working off anger and forgetting your problems, its the best way to do it! When I got the bomb dropped on me, I got into miserable shape, ballooned up to 285 lbs. wore a size 42 pant and was a walking heart attack. Last year I dieted and worked out, dropped down to 225 lbs. by July 1st and wear a size 36 pant. Today I have put on 35 lbs.... Thing is, I still wear a size 36 pant!!! I have gained 35 lbs. of muscle! I had a young girl about 21 or 22 come up to me in the gym, I am 41, she asked me if I was married, I told her "no honey, but I am old enough to be your father" LOL She couldn' believe that I was 41. LOL Kinda funny, made me feel good inside, but I will pass on the teenie boppers! LOL Keep up the good work!!!!

Braveheart,

Thanks for the kudos. Same back at you. You are so right, working out does wonders for the stress level and the confidence. It is something our ML'er cannot take away.
I find keeping busy the key to this mess. Instead of worrying, focusing, obsessing, etc...... I am putting all that emotional energy into me and the kids.

I found this in a devotion book. It fit.

SOMEWHERE WITHIN

God of beginnings and endings,
embrace each of us this day with
your tenderness and love.
We give you thanks that
somewhere within, the
seed has sprouted.
We can feel its movement;
we can sense its energy.

Somewhere within the rainfall has
reached. Our desert is gone,
our dryness has disappeared.
Somewhere within we've been
given life again. We can say
goodbye to emptiness; we can
say hello to fullness.

Somewhere within our yearning
has been met. God of
graciousness, you have graced
us. God of tenderness you
have blessed us.

Somewhere within we feel
at home again. We have enthusiasm;
we want to dream.

Bless us, Holy One, as the circle of
our life journey has once more
come into its season of spring.

Gosh, BH, I wish my H had that kind of attitude! (And I know there are a lot of other women on these boards who would feel the same!) My H has always looked young for his age, but when he first got involved with his current OW, a year and a half ago, he was 43 and she was 22! AND, to put the icing on the cake--and I'm not exaggerating--she weighs double or triple what I weigh! \:o

Sorry for the mini-hijack, Trusting (although I want to thank you for the belly laugh I had when I read about the itching powder!!). You may now return to your regularly-scheduled thread. ;\)

Peace,
Dawn

Dawn, it is flattering to people, men and women when someone a lot younger than you flirts with you. In saying that, I have the good sense to realize that someone that age is not in the same place as I am in life. People who go for someone 10 or 20 years younger will most likely be left by them in the comming years. What could I possibly have in common with a girl that age? I would just be kidding myself. I like women in my own age range, plus or minus 5 years or so older or younger. The woman I am seeing now is about a year younger than I am, we have a lot in common and we enjoy each other's company.
