hope you have a great weekend. Or at least a decent one. I'm alone tonight as d11 is at a friend's, and h is still with his mom for 2 more weeks and then visits here looking for a local job. (And s22 is back in NY and d19 is in Europe for the whole dang semester---what idiot suggested THAT to her? Oh wait, me)

So I rented Lady Chatterly's Lover...which is a weirdly erotic and romantic film to watch alone. Hmm, maybe a chick flick would be better and I DO have a selection....

I am here. Went to HS basketball game tonight and had a good time. H picked up D4 and I walked out the door behind him. So it was nice to be able to show him I had someplace to be. lmao. He asked how I was and I said fine and asked how s13 was. I have given up asking how H is. I'm trying really hard to not be interested. No, I'm NOT interested because what he says hurts. So I don't ask so that I don't get hurt. I can tell that really hurts him, and I sympathize, but really, not my problem. Move that wench out and we'll talk.

I tried calling base legal today but they must have been busy cause they didn't answer the phone. i think it's interesting that his 1st shirt knows about this and still condones it. Makes you wonder. Whatever, though.

We go to C Monday morning and I am wondering how that will go. I gave him the same paperwork she gave me and he didn't seem too interested in filling it out. The 8 page letter I wrote was in there, too, so we'll see. He won't find it unless he starts the paperwork. Not trying to hide anything, but curious as to how long it takes it to get found, if it ever does, which means something in itself. I did not ask him to come back in the letter. I did not even say sorry. I just offered up a sort of timeline of events, and some of the things that i felt contributed to how i felt at the time. and let it go.

i can't be responsible for his choices anymore, which is hard, because I have felt responsible for his choices the last 13 years. And it's just really hard to let go of something you've been doing for the last 13 years!!!!

Well, since I am alone, I know I should be cleaning or something, but I am not. I am going to watch "The Women" instead. See ya'll tomorrow!

um, no way to the cleaning. Wait til the kids can see it so we can guilt them and take this "alone" time to be...alone and sit in the pj's with a glass of wine watching whatever the hell we want...

But, my house IS a mess...even by my standards...and I already lowered them. Oh, did I tell you that Orthodox Christmas is Jan 9th and so, I have not taken my Christmas tree down yet? And I'm not orthodox either...but, I haven't gotten the....energy?

J, you are NOT going to believ this. I still have my Christmas tree up too!!! I just refuse to take it down yet. I put it up a month late, so I am determined to get another month out of it. And I don't care what anyone thinks!! But I will be taking it down tomorrow. That is part of my goal for tomorrow!!!

I am going to go check those threads and then I am going to go get some new sheets. Yeah! It's the little things!!

At least you put up a Christmas tree. We didn't this year because I guess neither of us felt festive. We ended up leaving town for Christmas anyways.

So what is your theory on solving gang problems?

I have to go shopping today. Gotta get D7 a P2P that she wanted for her birthday last week. We are doing dinner at a greek restaurant tonite with my W's side of the family. We are doing Christmas in January for my W's sisters daughter that got back from her dad's this week.

gang problem, next on list...THEN clean house and take tree down. Those are good priorities. Can't put ourselves first when there are gangs out there.

Okay. Here goes. Corral all gang members in somewhere like...I dunno...whatever the largest stadium in the U.S. is. Make sure you get them all in. Keep them there for two weeks with no bathrooms and no food. Then. Exactly two weeks later, open the dome. Give them ALL of their automatic weapons, knives, grenade launchers, whatever back. Then. Open the dome. Drop in 1 (one) King Size Snickers bar. And let them have it. Last one alive wins!!!
