Lymphoma, depending on the subtype, is often successfully treated - especially in kids. If it is in her pulmonary lymph nodes rather than the lungs themselves it may only be stage 2. Even if it is more advanced, sometimes it can respond dramatically to treatment. Please don't jump to any conclusions. It's terrible that she has to go through this. But her prognosis may be quite good. Your plate was already pretty full. I'm really sorry. Thinking of you. (((((kat)))))

I just appreciate the prayers and the stop by. I hope with the Chemo starting tomorrow, there will be a quick change. I don't even know how often they do the treatments. I am sorry that I have been overwhelmed by this and not posting on other threads so much.

You know my life just wouldn't be my life without something else happening. I was a good girl, sitting at my desk on a call with a client when something went into my right eye. I thought it was an eyelash or something but it really was like a piece of wood!!
I rubbed it, tried to flush it out with water, used cold compresses. Nothing was helping. Finally looked on the internet ans saw that I may have a scratched cornea. Went to the eye Dr and sure enough. Went I got back, my boss wanted me to check and see if this could be a workmans comp claim. It is. Who would have thought it?? Workman's comp from sitting at my desk doing my job??

That sounds awful, Kat!!! How the heck did a piece of wood get in your eye--are you working at a construction site or something? Is your eye going to get better? Are you wearing a patch or something???
OK, this is ridiculous! You've had enough bad luck lately for about 10 people!!! What do you think is going on? Is the OW a gypsy that put a curse on you or something? I know I'm silly, but... Karen
Maybe she is a witch that practices voodoo!! They were remodeling half of our building to accommodate the new tenants, I think whatever it was got into the duct work and eventually got blown out right into my poor right eye!

That's what I was kind of thinking, like the OW poking pins in a little kat voodoo doll or something! That sounds dangerous; maybe while they're remodeling you should wear safety goggles or something?? I hope your eye heals quickly!!! ((((kat)))) Karen
