Dude, I passed from hot & sexy to half-toasted and sweaty by the end of that show. I couldn't have seduced him if I'd wanted to that night. I think he does appreciate my new "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" attitude as far as drinking goes though! Well, until I was hurling up my toenail polish the next morning that is ~ HAAA!
Interestingly, he kept pretty straight that night and he didn't even flip out when they came onstage (and they're HIS fave band of all time). I on the other hand freaked out like a woman at an Elvis concert in '74 .

HA! I wouldn't say they are going "my" way but heck, my way never really accomplished much, did it?
Some things go left, some things go right, at least right now it doesn't sound like you're going "wrong" ... so it's all good. Keep going whatever direction is working for you and let the rest of the world find out how to fit in.
At the end of the day, it seems the best way for things to be.
