Happy New Year! I keep thinking there must be an analogy between the remote start on the Denali and your husband, but it hasn't come to me yet.

I haven't posted much lately because I was traveling a lot, first to New Orleans to visit my daughter, and then an emergency visit to my parents in W. Palm Beach, FL. My father got out of the hospital Xmas eve, and we planned a big dinner for Xmas day, inviting all the family, my brother's in-laws who also live in the same subdivision and even the Cardiologist who was in charge of my father's case. My husband drove down from Tampa. He asked if he could bring something, and I suggested a Honeybaked Ham (my kids love it.) Anyway, he went to the grocery instead, and bought a 12 lb. spiral sliced honey ham and brought it. So we served turkey and ham and lots of fixing and had a big meal. It wasn't technically a Christmas dinner since we are all Jewish, but the foods were pretty Christmas-y. Anyway,....my mother told me tonight that she's been telling all her friends and neighbors that we had a spiral sliced honey ham for dinner and they all say they've never heard of eating that! What a clever and creative idea! It sounds so delicious! And I'm thinking, a ham? They've never thought of serving a ham? Of course, they are all Jewish, but probably none of them are kosher.

Hi Friends,

Hope everyone's New Year is going well and will continue to get better.

I'm back at work after the holidays. Believe me, having two weeks off spoiled me. It's been a long week.

H is not fully back in his cave, but he is hanging out there a lot. I swear he is the most puzzling man... I'm not sure how much longer I can live like this, hot one minute, cold the next.

Why in the world would you buy your spouse a new luxury SUV only to withdraw again?

I want my marriage to work, but I also know that I will be fine if it doesn't.

I had to take some insurance papers by his office yesterday evening to have him sign. I invited him to come watch the Florida/Oklahoma game at the house where the big screen tv is. He stayed through the third quarter. He kissed me bye when he left.

Uggghhhh!!!! Who knows with him? By the way the skank/secretary still works for him.

Maybe he thought that would buy him extra cave time???

Me too. It's a good place to be I think. Edit: oops, I meant I'm fine with it not working out, not really that I want my marriage to work!!!

Yoyo,

It's the same old same old then with your H......although each time he appears to commit slightly more. The game is getting a bit old and passe but it obviously suits your H.

I think he is just hoping the ho will get fed up one day and go and then all his problems will have been solved!!!

Men!!!!! ( well some of them!!)

((((HUGS)))))

Hi Guys,

What is he doing that is withdrawing? Maybe he was just tired. That was a late game last night.

I have my daughter here for a few days. It is so much fun. we have spent both days so far in the stores, doing our best to stimulate the economy. she just got back from Costa rica where she spent a week mountain climbing and scuba diving. So she said she had no clean clothes. She came with no luggage, and immediately went to the mall and bought all new clothes for her. It was such fun, and everything was so cheap. (Except the makeup, that was Chanel and still full price.) But we both got beauty make-overs, so it was lots of fun!

Before Christmas he was calling and coming over a lot. He was very affectionate and sweet. He was pursuing me. Now he is more aloof and not calling or coming over. He only came over last night because I invited him to come watch the game when I took the insurance paper to his office. Of course I know it is good that he came over.

Sara,
Glad you had a great time with N! I know you enjoy having her around.

Hi Yoyo, just catching up on your sitch. Happy New Year.
Still should consider the Plan A/Plan B. Surviving an Affair by Hartley. Your H is fencesitting and he needs to jump on your side of the fence for good. As long as the OW is in his life everyday the addiction for her is still there. Only no contact with her will make the transition for him to come home for good. As long as the OW is there the A will always be on the backburner. I know your H wants to come home but he might need that extra catalyst from you.

You have done a great job and the patience of a saint. Take care.
