I don't have any 2x4s for your either - other than to say that you shouldn't apologize for posting more about your sitch...I often wish you would say more/share more - just because you are so active at GALing and maintaining your PMA.
It sounds like your W was reaching out to you - so that's a baby step to take note of...but as with all things in the DB world - make note of it, and let it go - since expectations will trip you up one way or another...
Don't worry about volunteering your opinion - I know it's not DB and that it is a bit of the fixer coming out - but it happens - and you just have to let it go when it does - the important thing is that you listened - and you showed empathy. Still, it may be best not to bring up D again - it's just such a dangerous word to toss around...my W hasn't mentioned it since she moved out - nor has she said anything about reconciling either though - so I'm just continuing to move on - and learning more and more about what it means to act AS IF she is not a part of my life anymore...then I will be stronger no matter what...

Be careful with S! This actually happened to my youngest son! Thankfully no permanent injury, but kind of Psychologically challenging to a young child!

W and S actually called me this morning on my way to work. It was from S request. I was so happy. Simple things in life can bring so much joy. Unfortunately, they always got overlooked.
