I am cooking some Yellow Croaker this evening for the kids. They dont exist off the Oregon coast. I wonder if you ever catch and eat them or use them as bait for big red fish. They are a sweet tasting little fish! I think they are very plentiful at the OBX.

Personally I enjoyed some Bud Light and a Buffalo Chicken sandwich this weekend, with the "hot" version of the sauce. I would have liked it a little hotter but the waitress assured me it was hot...Boy I almost pulled a Mikey I went to a high school basketball game followed by beer and spicy chicken. Guess we all wish we could be you buddy....

yes Kerry..they catch them, use them as bairt and if big enough they eat them..the small ones are bony and hard to clean. The heads are good bait for Redfish.

I've been reading about the dancing by the way and good on you..it appears i need to learn to dance..I do ok with a slow dance ..the others well..I need to work on that...6'5" former basketball players don't quite have "it" when it comes to dancing..we will see

ok...and yes..I clearly don't know what I'm doing..I know I'm a good guy. I know I have high values..I know this dating thing really has me conflicted..

I saw VST41 again last night..I drove to her hometown. Went to a local wing place..I met two of her daughters..she took me to the school she teaches and showed me her class room...

she makes me feel awesome..and it scares the chitt out of me..which I think is natural and is what I should feel..and it scares the chitt out of her..which is natural....

I guess my problem with all this is the dating thing...I need to investigate this sitch with the VST41 and make sure what is felt by both of us is true...and not have anything clouding my judgement..so..I'm pretty much pulling myself from the pool....just to see how it goes with VST41..and she has done the same..

I just feel a need to see what happens..I feel i'm doing an injustice to myself, an injustice to her if I don't give this a try.. I also feel that if I keep playing the field then I'm doing an injustice to everyone involved...

I know I'm a good guy..I know I'm a nice guy..I guess I'm tempting the "nice guys finish last thing again"

Now why would you catch helll Mike? I see nothing wrong with deciding to concentrate on one woman and see what happens. If you play the field continually then you run the risk of never having anything meaningful with anyone and I know you don't want that.

Playing the field equals playing games to most women even when neither of you wants to completely commit to a R no matter what is said verbally about it.

Enjoy your time together. Explore the dynamics and above all else, open your heart even if only a small crack. The possible rewards are HUGE!

What you describe sounds great to me. Nothing wrong with removing yourself from the field. You seem to have connected....that is great! Don't beat yourself up for that. Continue to enjoy each other's company Mike....low expectations....just enjoy...after all you / we have beem through, YOU earned it!
Never mind what people around you say. Follow your gut instinct.....and enjoy yourself!
