Sorry Tom, had unexpected company and had to step away.
Yup, I will share... 36 consecutive radiation blasts. (After 3 mos of chemo) Treatment for breast cancer. Seems to have done what the docs wanted, but in the process I now have a permanent tan on that 1/2 of my body. Also damage to my ribs, lung and a corner of my heart. Oh well, that is the tit for tat, or in this case the tat for the tit, lol! As I said, this year has sucked.
But I am still standing, and count every day that I am as a blessing.
You received some pretty good advice from Kel (as usual). I have to add that I agree with her. From my own point of view a pooch tummy seems silly, but it is what your darling thinks that counts. Pick your battles. I think that all she wants is your support.
Keep smiling buddy. I love reading your comments, and I feel peaceful when I read what your spirit shares.
Don't let the holiday get your down. I hope that you will get to share it with friends and those that you love.
Oh, and yeah. Be sure that your darling gets those mammograms. It saved my life.
