Well, it was a short pity party!

Last night I was on FB, W came in the room, and I didn't hear her. She asked what I was doing, I told her I was keeping up with some friends.

w: Where did you meet these friends?
me: On-line.
w: They are all women. (That's not true, though there are certainly a lot of them.)
me: I met them on a site to try to help M's.
w: How do you know they are what they say they are?
me: They could all be lying.
w: I'm not sure I'd talk about M trouble to strangers on-line. You should think about your motives.
me: OK. What did you want? (She had a catalog in her hand, clearly came in to ask a question.)

For being completely shocked when she snuck up (not on purpose, just the way it was) behind me, I thought I reacted pretty well. At least I didn't jump up to the ceiling! And maybe it got her thinking some more.

You told her exactly where you met all of us lovely ladies. We all are/were working really hard to save our M's. You ARE working hard to save your M but she wonders what your motives are. Can anyone else here say DENSE????????



How about because people are not inherently evil liars and people who are don't randomly stumble into sites based on books by an author who specializes in saving M's. Gees....I'm sorry. I guess it just got my back up.
