It just really bothers me that he tries to say/show what a great guy he is while in reality he is the scum of the earth. We had an exchange student a few years ago and we were discussing all of this stuff and she said she couldn't believe he was acting like that but kept commenting on the boys' facebook page like he was buddy buddy with them.
I said yeah, lots of time I will see my youngest son commenting about going to Dad's and making sad faces but then he takes them off so he won't get in trouble. She said she saw those too. Breaks my heart that it hurts them. I just keep doing what I have to and letting them know that they are loved.
On a nice note she said to me that I was her only parent that asked how she was, how she was feeling about stuff and what was happening in her life. I told her I always would and was happy that she liked sharing with me.

Just got back from bankruptcy attorney. Got a bunch of papers to fill out and a time for my next appointment...3 hours long. But it is okay. I want to put all this behind me. No longer will I have to replace engines he burns out, replace the cars he has totaled, contend with DUI's(ok only one)and try to make everything run without calling repair men. Well I will probably still do that to the best of my ability. Just put as much distance between our connection as possible. Like Karen said...a fresh start.

Lesson to not snoop. I was on the alternate universe and saw that S13 wrote some comment to his Dad and I just looked at his friend list and there she was. Made me want to puke!
What the heck ??!! Don't have a clue what he sees must be some really strong rose colored glasses and I am not joking. Yuck.

That sounds awfully catty of me. Really I am not usually so easily thrown...oh gosh. For 2.5 years I have been struggling with this and really didn't even think of it as snooping. My son had posted some pictures and saw there was a comment and just checked it out. I am such a dweeb!

XOM was 20 years older than W, couldn't hold down a full time job, high school education (from which he didn't seem to retain much), had a reputation for being a "player", and was definitely NOT easy on the eyes (unbiased opinion).
OM/OW in many cases has NOTHING to do with attractiveness, desire, or merit. They are a manifestation of the warped mind of the WAS. Kat, you deserve much better than XH. They deserve each other.

I still experience pain when I hear about OW and her kids doing stuff with my kids. I do hope they break up eventually and he finds someone with at least a tiny bit of morals. But truthfully, I guess these OP and WAS are made for each other. I don't think much of them at all, and sometimes I do think my ultimate revenge on OW is that she gets my H!!! And we will find someone fantastic, good people who will be faithful and loving...That's my plan anyway!!! Eventually.... Karen

I do love chocolate Puppy you know!!! Wonder why they want to trade down, doesn't make sense to me. On paper the OW in my sitch sounds good, attorney with good-paying job, but the fact she's married with kids (and she's really short)...I don't have anything against that, but how low!!! Thanks guys. I just don't know what to think of Karen's short comment you all know I am short(5'3"). lol Anyway, just a shock. I thought she would be a knockout or something since ex always told me how pretty he thought I was.
I know that there is more to attraction but usually the looks are the first thing that draws you to someone. Guess I just don't have the cheater mentality.
