No, there are no definite plans for when ya'll get here. We are going to kind of fly by the seat of our pants on it.
There are lights on the boardwalk. you drive down the Boardwalk to look at them from your car. Thought that might be fun. I am going to make stromboli for dinner Friday night.
The church is looking for volunteers to drop off food boxes early Saturday. We would bring the family food and then pray with them for any personal needs they have. Interested? I know for me, it would be a great way to start the day by praying for someone else. Then after, we can go to Williamsburg for the day--walking around the Colonial district, maybe a Tavern for lunch, and then there is a HUGE Yankee Candle Store there, too. I may use it to finish any last minute shopping I have while we are there.
Amy's plane reservations allow her to go to church with me on Sunday--and that will be special, as the kids' holiday show is during both services that day.
I hope you come! Do you have someone who can check on the kids for you?

I do have someone who lives nearby who can keep check on the kids..it's just kinda weird to me leaving them, tho my daughter who is 18 is more than capable of making sure everything is good

Well today was a pretty good day all in all..I was off work, so really just was lazy around the house for a change until I had to go clean this evening! Daughter even ran an errand for me so I didn't have to go out..I tell you..I owe her a big b-day present in January
Hub came home early for the 2nd night in a row, which is nice, and he didn't go anywhere else..I didn't really talk to him much tho, which is ok..just interesting that he's been home early..he came home and started taking care of the leaves in our yard, which sorely needed it, came inside, and then my daughter and I left to go clean..and went to Starbucks and danced around in the car and basically were just silly..which was so nice and relaxing..
Still missing my hub, sadly, tho he's right downstairs..but at least nowhere near as crummy feeling of a day as yesterday
I didn't even cook tonight, it was Arby's for us So..boring, but I'll take it

I wasn't that bad today. I think it was just the weather mostly; but I did think about how lucky I am to have my kids with me. It is truly the best blessing to come of all this.

I was thinking last night that, in reality, my daughter should have been away at college right now, but she wasn't sure what she wanted to do/where she wanted to go, so she decided to wait until next fall to go and has applied where she wanted..but I was thinking, wow..what a great blessing for me because I don't know WHAT I would have done without her here to help me these last few months!
She cranked up "So What" by Pink last night and was saying that should be my attitude song..LOL..

And, I always find that my sad days are the days without the boys! The kids are a blessing for sure!!!
