Oh you are fine. I just done stringing cranberries while I was watching Harry Potter with S16. Two bags is alot of cranberries and my fingers are stained red but it was fun. Don't know how long they stay nice on the tree but hopefully I will be able to give them to the birds after Christmas.

I am trying to find meaning in Christmas and not just commercialism. I think I told you guys that before. I bought some flannel pillow cover kits for the girls. We can make those together after the holidays. I did buy a couple of books too. Also thought we might donate to the World Wildlife Fund and the Heifer Organization. Trying to get the kids involved with the environment too.

I think I will do some baking the weekend before Christmas...gingerbread and cookies and brownies. That sort of thing. If you guys have more ideas let me know.

We did stringing the popcorn and cranberries...boy, that popcorn was more difficult than I thought to string. Next year, I will let it get stale before I string it. It was too breakable. Cranberries were fun, though.

Other ideas.....gingerbread houses are fun (my mom does it with all the grandkids, but if she didn't I would do it with my son), christmas songs/cds, pack hot cocoa and drive around to look at christmas lights, make christmas cards, go to some of the christmas shows in your area, watch the christmas shows on tv, read christmas stories like the Twas the Night Before Christmas (one per night the week before Christmas), stencil and spray snow on the windows, make homeade christmas gifts (ideas on the internet, magazines, library books, etc.), cut snowflakes, make snow angels, sled, snowmen, ....

How's that?

Thanks hon. I just got home from book club. We had chocolate and champagne as our theme since it was "Christmas" bookclub. I brought chocolatinis. Never had them before. You have to realize that for the most part, I don't drink. Only had a little but was feeling just a little warm so glad I stopped. Our book was the Queen's Fool. Pretty good especially if you like historical based fiction.

Kids just told me that yesterday it appeared as if they accidentally on purpose ran into the OW. They went to a parade that was in Lawrence where skank lives and "ran" into her.

I have to admit that stuff still hurts.

Sorry, but I read your post as "the kids accidently on purpose ran over OW". I was about to give a big thumbs up to you! Maybe you could give S16 a car for Christmas. Given the purpose, it could even be a rental (and, yes, buy the insurance).

Your version of my post sounds so much better. S16 is working on his driving so maybe accidentally on purpose isn't so far-fetched!

Ex is here and I would just love for him to go home. S13 had a concert for school, he doesn't like to sing, but ex took him. It is his night and I'm not feeling too woopie. Anyway he called me at work and wanted to know if he could just make them dinner at my house. He was bringing over the exact same thing I just made them last night. I said well I just bought hamburger and buns for tomorrow so I guess you could make that.

So everything is fine. He takes son and no one else wants to go. Now they are back and he won't leave. You know all in his Dad mode so I am hanging out in the computer room/boys room. Just had to vent.

I hate it when my W is in the house. She'll be here tomorrow for an online Pre BK counseling course.
