Bummer! Snow bunnies are more fun than sand bunnies anyway, in my opinion. Maybe I just prefer a guy on a snowmobile to a guy on a surfboard... ;\)

Have a safe trip brother.

Well,

This trip caps off what may go down as one of the worst weeks in my professional career.

Just about everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. The sad irony is I even tried to resign and my boss wouldn't accept my resignation. Apparently I can't even make that work this week.

I think the quote is "if you are going through hell, keep going" is probably best applied now. Stick with it and dont let anger and frustration of work overwhelm you.

I remember you mentioning many months ago how you knocked the ball out of the park at work one day and had no one to share it with.

What kind of work do you do? Is it stressful?

I have the worlds most boring job of writing computer system level code for the last 23 years.

Woog, that is pretty bad when you can't even quit....

Do you have a back-up plan? Like being the fly fisherman tour guide thing? Just curious, wondering if you are THAT ready to quit or if you are just having a shi**y week....

Take care, I am sorry it is so crappy right now. I will keep hoping for a bunny for you...

So I am sitting here on a early Thursday morning wondering about a few things. A friend of mine said that bad things come in threes. Lately I have had a lot of bad things. I am wondering if that means really bad things come in threes. Things like divorce, losing someone you love to another and perhaps losing/quiting your job. I don't know the answers to those questions.

Right now the world seems colorless for me. I think I am just numb. I don't like the feeling.

Its funny, many people would tell me that I should be positive. There are a lot of things going for me. And they'd be correct. I just need to find a way to appreciate them more.

Maybe it might be best to go see an IC now.
