Ha! You all are too funny. I'm with Kat, it's too hard to leave the infidelity board, too much excitement!

Hugs, Yoyo

Just stopping to let you know my car and I are not on the friendliest terms right now. I was about 15 minutes outside of Manhattan when I heard a strange noise. Thought it was my tire but it was fine. When I got back in my car, it wouldn't start. I had to walk to the nearest mile marker so I could tell AAA where I was and all the semis were just whizzing by. I was freezing. So glad I didn't wear a dress!

Then I called AAA. Called the hotel. Called my boss. Then I tried to call the garage AAA recommended and they couldn't even get me in until next week sometime!! They got me to another garage and they said they weren't taking any new appointments until next Thursday. I said I didn't live there and I was just in town for a day and a half. I guess they decided to take pity on me.

Got to my meeting just minutes before it started and was worried about the whole mess. The garage left a voice mail that it was done. The ignition rotor was gone and the distributor cap was broken!! Guess the rotor decide to fly the coop and broke the distributor cap in the process. That was a hundred dollars I didn't need to spend!

Anyway I am home and safe and hopefully will get a break from the drama, though I did find out that ex was late on yet another one of my bills he is responsible for. JA!!!!

Thanks for not getting me to XXX while I was gone. \:\)

Sorry to hear about your road trip from hell. Something similar happened to me a couple of years after I got out of college - car broke down on a freeway just outside NYC when I was visiting a friend. Had to walk across 3 lanes of highway traffic to climb up a hill and over a fence to get to a pay phone in a very questionable neighborhood.

Anyway, it's good you got things resolved and got back safe. The world needs as many too nice hot 44 year olds as it can get.

And the world needs more incredibly awesome 42 year old guys to remind us how lucky we are. How was CA? You always seem to pop up when I need to hear from you most. Are you psychic?

Really just being a bum and reading Eclipse. It is the 3rd book in the Twilight series. I don't have the romance going in my own life so nice to get it in a book without it having to be a trashy romance novel.

S16 went with his Dad to his grandparents for a while. So I got a couple hours of alone time. That sounds awful but I don't mean it to be. I love having him here, I love having all of them here. But I do need just some quiet, peaceful me time.

I do need to get out and meet people. I might check with one of my single girlfriends and see if we can do something this week. Flirt guy might take forever to come into the picture, so I need to live for now.

How about you?

kat

Just made plans to have dinner and drinks with a single girlfriend of mine on Tuesday. Will get me out of the house so I don't have to think of the 50 and 60 year olds that are "looking" at me on line. Ewwwwwww!!
