Journaling....

Today was good. I did not get my gym time in but I did get the gutters cleaned, I did receive some recognition at the luncheon. Wife went with me to the luncheon. (Last year she stayed home).
I temporarily fixed the brakes on my truck. (Until we get some money to do it right) AND Wife is thinking about applying for a job at Kohl’s. (A job in the past she thought was below her). She seems ok with it now.

Sorry to hear about the snow jak58. It was 75 here today but rain is predicted for tomorrow.

Thanks WDID for your input. I see the possibility of your thinking the way my Wife must have felt / thinks. I still have questions for you. Things I want to ask my Wife but know I would be better off if I didn't....

I guess I am a bit sensitive on the old friends thing. My sister ended up having an A and ruining her M with reuniting with an old class mate.

I know what you mean about being "sensitive" about certain things. I really need to watch myself when "talking to Red or SadM. Since my W did have an affair with a service Person. (Sorry I have a hard time calling him a man) that was away from home supposedly protecting my country but instead helped destroy my marriage.
I guess that is where prejudice starts. EVERYTIME I see a U.S Coast guard sticker or license plate I end up directing my anger towards them.
I guess that is where they say "one bad apple spoils the whole crop"

Hope you have a great day today. I know I will no matter what. I am stuck on the fence right now between showing affection and distancing myself. It's a fine line between becoming a nuisance by e-mailing, phone calls, coming home kisses and hugs and giving space to make our spouses miss us. Maybe they will think we don't care if we don't call or e-mail.
No matter what you do it seems it's not right.
There is the spouse that says.. You never pay attention to me, you are always out with your friends or working that is why I had to find someone else ... Or ... you have the spouse that says you NEVER give me space, you are always hanging around me. You never go out with your friends...

Ok enough venting this morning. Before my "date" I want my wife to know the ONLY thing I want/ask is that we leave the world behind for those two days.. NO work talk, No marriage talk, No kids talk, No sex talk...well... if sex talk come up that's ok but not required..

Well if nothing else comes up 21 more days...My mom is going in for back surgery on the 11th and IF W gets a job at kohl’s I HOPE she tells them that those dates are booked.....

I hope that she does tell them she has plans already. My H is the one who says I don't hang on him enough.. but we have to remember he is OVERLY affectionate. Not that im complaining, but i cant be like him. I am better than I was though.

You could have a dialogue about where she is at with intimacy.....if she wants no kisses or hugs then you need to stop trying. Is she talking to a counselor?

Good plan for the weekend. Have fun, you two. Focus on connection...emotional connection. And, be "her man"...make sure she feels like the feminine one, the one that you need to keep safe, the one you can't keep your eyes off of, etc.

Things are good at home. I got the roof patched just in time and everything put away before the rain. didn't stay home much after that I went back to work...12 shift...MONEY
