I'm so sorry, I had hopedd once that friend moved out that things would get better!! If he stays away I think it will. I think you are so right to put a time frame with no one in the house after a certain hour. Also, those kids need to help you!!

I don't have kids so I don't have any good advice, but I sure can support you!! I hope the talked with S that H had will really help the sitch.

Hang in there!!!!

When I was much younger my mom used to make us all get out of bed before 9AM every Saturday to do chores. We hated getting up early. I remember how she used to go thru our drawers to see if they were neat and if they were not, she would empty them out and we had to make it neat.

I am not that bad but these kids know what they have to do today. I don't care if the dishes sit for a week, they will do it.

Yeah, it would bug the heck out of me and if H lived here, it would never be like this.

M,
Not being a busy body, but what type of shoes are you wearing and why type of flooring are you walking on?

I hope tonight is a better sleeping night for you.

LOL--you are not a busybody.

I am wearing flat black non-skid shoes with gel pads in them.

And the floors are tile.

I have to get some Nike shoes or something along that line.

The shoes you are currently wearing are not giving you the "cushion" support you require for that type of floor. Either get a Nike with some "bounce" support or, I hate to say thing, but look in the nursing type of shoe. You have to have something that will absorb the "shock" of hitting that hard floor.

Yes, that is my plan, when I can afford it.

Okay. I understand.

How are things going there today? Any news from h? I'm really concerned about his health, but realize that he's got to be the one to determine when it's time to see a physician. I do hope it's soon.

Please take care of yourself.

I guess he is okay. He texted me 30 minutes ago just small talk. S18 says he is supposed to come over today but I haven't heard for sure.

I will post back later tonight with the scoop.

H came over late this afternoon.

I was cleaning up in the kitchen, he comes in, wanting ice for his big gulp cup and the ice was in a big chunk. We rarely use ice and he was so mad about that.

Then he looks in the fridge for soda and we did not have any. He said something like, "you have nothing" and shook his head. I was about ready to cry but zipped my lips and went about my business.

I pretty much kept my distance the entire time.

I gave him his mail, explained some paperwork, and he just left to pick up D16 from church. I walked him out to his car, kept my distance and he said, "I guess I will see you later" and I just threw my hands in the air and said yeah, whatever, and dashed right back into the house without giving it or him a second thought/look.

That was the extent of my evening. We won't see him until the weekend and I have no intention of talking to him at all until then.

MWG,

I think you handled that very well!!! I know when you are working as hard as you are & then he comes in complaining, I'm sure that would make you want to cry. I'm glad you just didn't say anything. You are doing well!! Take care of you right now!!!
