Too professional!! My Lady, you are not DBing him exactly because you are NOT in an R with him...
Maybe I am just weird... You English are so "freakin" stiff...

Hey Lisa,
Well it sounded pretty charming and warm and men are pretty straighforward!? I guess he will get it, but also, may add to his confusion about whether or not you are interested! Its great that you offered to watch the football with him then and I am sure that he will take you up on that if he feels a bit low.

I'm so sorry you may be losing your job, thats bad news! More change. Although, ineresting that it made you aware of having some (?) feelings for this man, when you faced not seeing him every day. I'm with Kalni, its the new era! And like Naej said, how long can you go on looking at a closed door? You've have such fortitude, waiting for your H whilst he continues in another R.. my ex has been in one 6/7 weeks and its too much to bare already, so I have real admiration for you there.

Whatever you did or didnt do this weekend.. you will get another chance next week if you do all end up losing your jobs (I'm sorry!).. that will precipitate a commiseration drunken night at the pub no doubt.. and theres a Full Moon on Tuesday and Mercury moves forwards the day after and things, finally, start moving from then to the end of the month.

It would be interesting also, as you and your H have built up a 'safe' email R.. you dont tend to phone one another in between drinks dates? So, if you left work, I guess he could email you at home, or maybe start phoning.. but hopefully if he did, CEO would be answering...

Really, too professional? Oh no! We're talking about a man who always tells me that women mail and text him all the time (he thinks these women are stalkers), and who wants to chase a woman. I don't know what the boundary is between being a stalker and being professional; such a fine line to tread. ;\)

Maybe I was too conservative, but imagine how awful it'd be if he's just been flirting for fun this whole time! He hasn't replied, so I *assume*...nothing, I suppose. He could be asleep, have his Blackberry off, not feel like responding, feel like I went too far etc etc etc.

Let's see how the weekend goes. I have to start looking for a new job!

What would you have said to him?

"Hey Handsome!!
You wanna give me your input on some new flirting moves I've developed just for you lately?
Lisa Onatop (from a James Bond movie)"

No, it's OK. You know what it is right. I just didnt think telling him you are thinking of him in this occasion is the same as what OW do pursuing him to go out with them.
You still have time. Dont worry.

LOL Ali! I can't imagine CEO being at my flat; he's too big and he'd take up too much space! ;\) And I can't imagine H phoning me. isn't that odd, considering that until he left we'd spoken on the phone every day (or face to face) for over 7 years. Oh well. Things move on I suppose....

Interesting about Tuesday- maybe there will be a drunken night out, although it's choir so that'll give me a dilemma! But it's good to think of things changing in some respects (not in respect of my job- I liked it!). I felt as though things had changed a bit more for me this evening. There are *some* feelings for CEO, but I don't know how I'd define them right now. Attraction? He has been lovely to me this past year. And he is HOT. I like him just as he is now; no changes necessary.

I'm rambling. I like him. He may or may not fancy me. If only I get some proof this would be so much easier!

Sunshine. I am LMAO! Lisa Onatop? That's me!!

You're right- me telling him I'm thinking of him isn't the same as a stalker OW. Shall I try it next week maybe? After he's had to give everyone their termination letters maybe; I think he's very worried about that. And besides, once I'm on notice I think he's no longer officially my boss.

Maybe I should just say 'Hey CEO. My pet beaver's having a party and you're invited. My place, Saturday night'. LOL!

"I hope your snake is ready for some action" (drilling as per Essie)

Love it Sunshine!

If we all end up leaving work and he hasn't asked me out by then, I'll do it- just ask him to bring his snake to my beaver party. Nothing to lose!

Soon was like yesterday ;\) It's so bad but today I was sitting in our team meeting noticing gaps in his shirt and wanting to see what was underneath. Very very bad!!

Doesn't this remind you of our nights on the boards those months ago? So nice to speak to you here, My Sunshine Inspiration!
