I wonder if his drinking ironically has something to do with the upcoming legal situation. Maybe it totally stresses him out to have that looming, and know that he can't fully move forward and get OW out of your lives.
I think in a way he is hanging on too for the end of this mess, my friend...

H was away all last week on a biz trip. He got home this morning. It was a long week w/o him. D15 had a school event that he missed. It was nice to see him this morning. After a long week he slept a good deal today. D15 is with friends so we got carry out for dinner. And while we were eating I realized how blitzed he was. I was really hoping to have a nice night with him but it's hard to have those feelings when he's this way.
After dinner he went upstairs to use the little boy's room and when I didn't see him for 30 minutes I thought ... can he really still be in there??? I went and looked and he's passed out on the bed. Snoring.

I always wish that too! It seems like everyone lives in CA or Kansas for some reason!!! I think that would be great!
Have you been able to do some GALing? I had a low day yesterday and it really helped me to get out and do something fun. I need to try to do something fun every day--when I don't it's not good!!! Karen

I did not go out GALing. Too much rum and coke in me that night for that! What I didn't know when I wrote that pathetic post was that I was on a downward spiral physically, mentally and emotionally. Ended up sick. I'm better now. But the problem seems hard to believe: a severe vitamin deficiency.
What was more scary than the horrible fatigue (could hardly get out of bed) and nausea was the depression, anxiety and paranoia. I thought I was going section 8! The human body really is a carefully balanced machine.
Thanks for the invite. My D15 would love to come to CA. We heard about a Motley Crue concert at the Palladium(?) and she begged me to go. Gee, if I only had a couple grand I didn't know what to do with!
I had a long week! Work has been more than busy, it's been crazy. I've put in some long hours for the past couple weeks and there is no end in sight!
Otherwise, going ok. H was out of town on biz again this week. This trip came up very suddenly and I have to admit I was a bit suspicious! I hate that. Do those feelings ever go away?!
But I know he was working. Thankfully, he stays with a co-worker when he goes on these trips. And, the one night he called me we talked for 30 minutes. During that time his other cell phone rang (which is his personal phone). It was OW (I know because of the ring tone he's set for her calls).
Brag time ... Went to the football game tonight at D15's school. She's in the band and they did a GREAT half time show featuring Halloween type songs like Time Warp and Thriller. They were all in Halloween costume and some of the kids did the Thriller dance. One kid was even dressed up as Michael. It was great.
H was supposed to have a status hearing last week. It was postponed to freaking Dec. I swear this will never be over. But at least OW is more sane these days. She must be getting past her anger.
