Good evening all. If you're expecting an update on the dinner with financialgirl40 then you will be disappointed. She called and canceled via VM about 3:00pm today.
The Texas Hold em party went off without a hitch last night. Lots of fun, lots of beer and food. Lots of laughing. I did not win but that does not matter.
Today, up early..cleaned up around the house, washed my car. Went and worked out. Came home and found out about the canceled dinner and got myself ready and went to see "Nights in Rodanthe" The movie was great. The scenery beautiful. It makes me miss what I consider my 2nd home..The Outer Banks of NC..anyway..I would not suggest that anyone from here go see that movie..it will all hit very close to home I'm afraid. It's a tear jerker for sure. Divorce..WAH who wants to come back, LBW who does not want him, kids who struggle with the D and OM..throw in a death and you have the makings for a "cryfest"
You better have your head on straight if you're gonna go watch it..
Back to the grind tomorrow..L appointment on Tuesday, mediation on Wednesday....and permanent visitation starts Wednesday..
Can you guys say a prayer for me on Wednesday?? and thanks..

Sounds as though it was not going to work out for her on this particular night I wouldn't put much stock into a blind date or take it as a personal deal as I know you won't.
I would say you won just GAL'ing and have good friends around you, sounds like it wa a fun time had by all.
Okay so there are 2 movies out that are dealing with marriage and the things that go wrong, is society final figuring out that everything is not disposable?? Or that this is becoming an epidemic???
