Since I worked in banking on/off from 1978-1990, even while in transition, people were still able to make deposits, etc. at their "old" bank. Everything is the same, and for example, you could still use your checks with the old bank name and when you ran out, the new checks would have the new bank name on them.

I don't think the right hand knows what the left hand is doing anymore.

Oh I know. I worked at a bank for 9 years too and whenever we bought another bank, we never inconvenienced the customer. This is just nuts. I know that if it was there though, it's still there. Since H isn't on my account then he can only make deposits into it, he can't money out.

And he put cash in!!!

As long as it gets worked out then I'll be fine. I'll pitch a fit if I get charged fees though for sure!

IMO the fact that your H did what he said he would he when he said he would do it is not getting the attention it should.

Hi D! I thanked H when he made the deposit. He knows it's very appreciated.

My stupid bank STILL hasn't put in the CASH that H deposited! Now another check came in and the account is negative $141. I hate this unnecessary stress!

Okay, so the money finally got into my account. Now I have to wait 24 hours to see if I get any fees.

Okay, so enough about the bank and that garbage. All in all today's been pretty good. No complaints. Seems my life is getting more and more boring by the day. I guess that could be good though....then there's no drama.
