Donna,

Your XH is a lost soul. Who the hel* buys a house with someone they're only in a non-legal relationship and thinks it's a good idea? You seem like a sweetheart to me, and this guy just ran you over with a steamroller and didn't look back. Whether it's his "unhappiness" or my STBXW's "Love tanks", the kids are the biggest losers, because in both of our cases, it was really solvable, had the other person been committed to anything but "their emotions".

What the he&& did your XH THINK a 13 year old boy would say? "No Dad, I'm really happy that you and mom are divorced and that I have the oppotunity to have instant new brothers and sisters. Everything is fine Dad". Your son will someday realize what his father did to a woman who was totally devoted to him. My kids get it, except my 10 year old.

You, on the other hand, seem to be doing well! Keep it up. I'd love to get the name of your attorney, but I'm not sure how I'd even contact you.

Work, Mr. F.
Danbury.

She's Webster-OKeefe in New Milford.

Oh, and it might be better for S13 if he did have an instant brother - but this chick has all girls. So, it will be him, and 5 girls (plus the skank) in the house.

The thought makes me ill.

S told me about the "room" they are talking about putting in the basement for him. Right now, it is unfinished, and the house is full of mice (been empty since April). He DOES NOT want to sleep down there. He said he would be ok on a pull-out couch with a dresser in the living room, but his dad is pushing it. I feel bad for him...I just told S that I am concerned about her D15 being next to him in the basement. He said Why? I told him that she is just at a different place in her life with a boyfriend and I don't want him to grow up too fast...plus, she could wear more clothes. He said, Yeah and blushed.

Wow--has your H lost his mind?? Well, rhetorical question, I know. But anyway--putting 2 teenagers in the basement together, an unrelated boy and girl?? How dumb is that?? And in a basement full of mice, no less. What a plan.

Have they already secured a loan? Because it's a real possibility they may be unable to under the circumstances unless each has exemplary credit.

I had another great day at work (I LOVE my job!!). My student teacher got observed today by her college supervisor, and she did great. Right before the lesson started, I jumped on the net and grabbed a few more resources that she could show the kids, so she was able to put it up on the board and impress with her tech savy!

Just after, my dept head came in to see me (observe? Maybe...) I was talking to K kids about the Aztecs in Mexico around my global map rug, then we moved to the tables to create our own mosaic masks - he was pretty impressed (and I was so proud of these littles - they are awesome sponges, and SO funny).

My dr. called me on the way home (I've had an ear infection for about 4 days now - ick) and told me to come right in, so I picked up the kids and went over there. He wanted an update so I told him all the latest (he is a very sweet man and will take time like that). Come to find out that he knows both the skank and her stbxh, and their families, both of which have lived her a few generations. Said he had always liked her H and was so sorry it happened to him, but wasn't surprised at who the skank was - seems like she didn't fall too far from the tree, and he knew that she and her mother both are just miserable people in general. Said my x must be a very sick man to do all that he did, especially with her.

Too bad for him, huh?

From there, took the kids to Target to fill the script and shop a little, then to Healing Hearts (a divorce support group, with social workers in each small group broken down by age). Seems that at least 2 girls have a crush on S13 - one even dressed up really nicely and asked for his phone number! And so that begins...
Good group to be around and vent with, share ideas of what next steps to do, etc.

Off to Chinese Buffet, then a trip through the grocery store. We are home and wiped, but we laughed and joked around a lot tonight - it was a really good day.

And my littles are home with me ALL WEEKEND \:\)

And tomorrow is FRIDAY \:\)

And I am feeling more like myself: happy, open, bubbly, a goofy ham sometimes, etc.

Oh, btw, not sure if they secured a loan or not - remember, he didn't even tell me they were moving in together, let alone buying a house together. I heard that they put a bid on the house yesterday for 10,000 under asking, but who knows. I really don't care beyond where my kids will have to sleep.

It should be pretty funny - he said he only had $30 in the bank. So all the $$ will be hers, including for the furniture they will need.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen....he must be so proud.
