I remember when my aunt divorced, she moved out of state, bought a condo, and became very involved. I mean she would walk to the beach, go swimming everyday, joined a bird watching club, went to operas, etc.
We are not affected by hurricanes, snow, tornadoes, just lots of heat, and dust storms and some rain/thunder/lightning.
I do wish we had many more cloudy days.

Hi MWG, Yes, I keep busy. I guess I am like your aunt and I do it so that I get less reminded of my sitch. If I stay at home I get reminded of H and have too much time to think. But I do enjoy the things I do though.

Yesterday it poured really badly but I still met my GF and we went dancing!!! It was a nice place we went to and the music was also good but unfortunately, there were mostly couples there, and the men who were there did not dance. I managed to dance once! Oh well, I did not expect anything else, but the two of us still had a good time.
Tonight I went to the theatre. The play was not terribly good but still enjoyable.
It got really cold and I had to put on the heating!!! We already got a taste of winter, and I just hate it. Hopefully, we will still have some nice sunny and warm days in autumn.
Journaling: Yesterday evening I went to an event with a friend. Classic and folk music was performed which we enjoyed. We stayed unexpectedly long. It was freezing though as it was half outdoors and half indoors, but we dressed like in winter and were fine.
The weather is still overcast and very cold for the time of year, but I hope it will clear up in the afternoon and warm up a bit.
Before you know it, the snow will be falling and here we are, still around 100!

Hi nlt, Nice of you to pop round. Yes, I am having some fun. I went to a jazz concert this evening, but I didn't know it was just percussions!! Although I don't really like that kind of music very much I was surprised how good it was and I enjoyed it very much.
Journaling: I just remembered that it has been a year since H told me he wanted to give us another chance.
I did not reply to his recent e-mail and don't intend to contact him anymore either unless there is an emergency. He has not written anymore. I wonder how long he will be able to go without contacting me again.
