Neil,

If you'd been thinking, you would have blushed and looked sheepish when she asked if you were hit on. You would not have had to say a word.

She is starting to notice the changes, Neil.

Smart Cookie, what are the red and white people like?

Neil,

I'm glad the get together went well, sounds like it was a nice day for the four of you. You did well. My only real comment is if y'all talk about the holidays again, please stand up for your rights. You are a great Dad who is involved a lot. Make sure you get your fair share of time with the kids. IF necessary, talk to your Lawyer to see what "typical" arrangements might be for the holidays if she wants to push the issue.

Hopefully you will have more days like this.....great job of DBing

again, the this is that i wasn't hit on. perhaps i'm just dumb and don't know when i'm being hit on. LOL....

she's really putting her guard up around me again.... i bought her a coffee this morning (i got doughnuts for breakfast) and she said "you didn't have to do that"...i responded "i wanted to"

and another thing this weekend....at the park, a bird dropped one on the cookie my D2 was eating (great shot...LOL) as we were cleaning up, she said to me "remember when you got pooped on on a walk in (where we used to live)"...that was pretty funny, i said......so she pulled a SMV!!!!!!!!

i'm going to wait for her to bring it up again. I'm not worried about whether i get my fair share of time (not that it'll matter...we'll be together by then again ) she'll be cool about it. I actually want to insist that we do Xmas together somehow. Considering i have all the xmas decorations.....

Good choice Neil. I think the x-mas together is a good thing considering the age of the children.

As you let more out of the bag, the get together sounds very nice indeed

but still....wtf?

Yes, but it is posswible to make it look like a potential come-on, especially in the wife of a very confused and isecure wife.

If you are comfortable doing it and do not expect anyting in return, do not fret over the occasional coffee. She is trying to repair some cracks in the walls.

Oh good, my prayers are working on her!

Good job on the positive thinking. I think that you may be right.

LOL about the decorations! It is possible to do Christmas together, it just takes some creative planning to get it done. You are lucky that you will get the holidays with them, period.

H will be out on the big grey boat--he is going to miss the older girls' birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, our anniversary, S2's birthday, Christmas, New Years, our other anniversary, Valentine's Day, my birthday, St Patricks' Day (he is Irish LOL), and possibly Easter. I am hopeful that all of that, coupled with my being my wonderful self, will seal the deal on him coming home.

Good morning Neil, Nice touch on the donuts. I agree w/ Pisces on the lady vet and your W's response. She (the W) sees your PMA, and assumes every female does too. Remember, we WAW can be a little out of touch w/ reality at times! Curious, does your W future trip much, because the 'remember when' comment was a good sign. I, myself, am a planner. In fact, I have to force myself to live today at times (so much so that I believe cookie would call me a Smurf!) Peace.
