Well I guess you all ready know I am a tad old fashioned but I like kids to have a bit of magic in their lives. I used to tell them that their navel was were the angel pressed their tummies to see if they were done!
Well one of my kids actually told "Miss" at nursery that she was wrong when she gave her version of a navel(quite corectly) so she had a quiet word with me about spinning fairy tales.
Watch out for the pixies in them their woods is all I,m sayin.

This too shall pass with D right? That's what they say isn't it. I've seen some of those chick flicks with the D and the mom coming together later in life. (My D is a lot like her mom and it hurts at times but we love them anyway).
Exercise new clothes eating right, all of that is a great Rx. Sooner rather than later D will really be on her own and it will just be you and MG frolicking here and there.
I put together a "Attitude of Gratitude" list yesterday because i was feeling a big funky and I ma so glad i did. I have so much to be thankful for as do you. Enjoy the ride the rest of your journey. Our daughters are ourselves. Just step back and put your face on her when she says those things and I'll bet you see a lttle of yourself. If she didn't love you, she wouldn't give you a hard time.
And don't you give up on what your X owes you. When you get it for pete's sake pay yourself back for all the extra you've paid for her. And don't give it to her - you take it and do something for you. Then take MG somewhere with what's left over.
I've had company down all week and have been away from the boards. I at least get to read emails from my phone and today there were so many I had SO MANY laughs! I love getting email on my phone!
