Too funny Jilly!

My friend L when she was a young 'en would use the term " rosie"

You are a good soul Jill, you have a big heart and class that some people couldnt come close to touching, hence their bitterness I am sure, dont let others nastiness and whackadoness change who you are!

Now, speaking of ADs. I have never taken any because i was way to scared and was told my crap was all situational. Sounds like that may very well be what is going on for you, Jill.

I read something about cognitive therapy being more helpful for certain kinds of depression than pills. I have a book I read that helps with this for me. Not that it is cognitive or anything but it has helped me with depression and anxiety. I could email you the title as I am not sure what the heck we are allowed to post around here anymore.

Hey Beth, when I was a youngstern and getting dolled up to go out, my mum would say "You don't need to gild the lily" -hmmmmm you bring a whole new meaning to it now.
Mind you she aso used to say " you can't make a sik purse out of a sows ear!

And you wonder why I,m not quite a full shilling!

Lily? Hmmm.

I actually have a list that some creative souls compiled of over 130 terms for "down there".

It is, after all, a special area of interest for me.

Oh Sweetie, you're way more than a shilling. You're at least a shilling and a half.

Well I used to call my sons parts his Birdie. Now he tells me how gay I was for doing that. My older sister was really into montessouri and progrssive hands on learning. So of course she wouldn't let her kids use any anything but the anatomically correct words. Having been in a store onetime with my nephew when he needed to pee and also let everyone know where it was coming out of, I swore that I didn't care if my kids didn't know the correct name for any of their body parts, I wasn't ever going to be that embarassed again! To this day.....well nevermind. I was going to tell you what my kids think there butt is but I'll leave that for another time!
