Well, the problem is that the insurance comes out of my checking account every month. He needs to change it to his checking account and I am fine with that....but he is hard to get in contact with since he has no phone or internet and he works irregular hours.

He is also bad about paying bills. I am worried about him letting the insurance lapse with the car in my name. He needs to get it in his name. I could take the car, but then I would have to deal with paying for it or sellling it. I have a feeling that is what it is going to come down to though.

I think things are getting better. I am finally feeling happy. He doesn't consume all of my thoughts. I can already see that I am better off financially and emotionally without him. I grieve the loss of the person I fell in love with, but I don't love the person he has become.

Oh yeah, I took xh off my gym membership this weekend. I had pretty much forgotten about it. I thought about letting him know...but then I decided I would let him figure it out himself when his card doesn't work. \:D

I am sure this hasn't crossed his mind that I would cancel it. Seriously, I bet he thinks I would continue to pay for that.

That sucks about the car stuff. I hope that you can get that figured out soon.

Kinda funny about the gym though. If he really expected his XW to pay for his gym he's even dumber than we thought! Lol.

Well, I will get the car stuff figured out I guess. Maybe he will get sick of dealing with me and do whatever he can to get it in his own name.

I don't think he would expect me to pay for his gym membership...it just doesn't cross his mind that SOMEBODY had to have been paying it all this time. He just doesn't think about things.

klm,

Happy Monday!

Congrats on getting everything done. I'm so glad to hear that you went to the wedding and had fun. I bet that felt so good.

You know, if your Mother is willing to have you, (which I think is very cool of her) you would be so far ahead of the game by January. What a great start to a new life. Oh and I agree about the car ins. as well. You can take you name off of the current policy without canceling it. In fact I did just that and ended up having my agent open up a new policy for me with the same company. Quit taking responsibility for him. He doesn't deserve you!

Love,
Bethie

You should be able to take your name off the insurance even if your name is on the car. Although it would also be nice to get your name off the car. But getting your name off the insurance and getting it transferred to his checking account would be a good start.

Glad you had fun at the wedding! Was your date very charming?

As for XH, he'll have to start thinking about things now I guess!

Thanks Bethie,

I will do something about the car insurance this week.

Yes, my mother is willing to have me. She loves having me there so that she isn't so lonely. She really is my best friend. Actually she wants me to stay until I am ready to buy a house (which could be a year or two)...but I will need my own space before then. I am thinking January will be good. That will give me enough time to get some things paid off between now and then.

I know I need to quit taking responsibility for him. Not sure why I do that.

Oh Sweetie we all do that. It's just easier to spot when someone else does it. Maybe I needed to remind you as a reminder to me as well!

Love,
bethie

hey girly!! back from vacation, glad to hear the house deal is done, yey!!!!

Good on you about the membership for the gym, it must've been priceless when back in 05 stbx tried to use the ccs and neither worked, lol! I was the primary holder, so I was not about to let him use my cards, tee hee.

Anyways, hope you have a good week. There are a lot of behaviors ingrained in us (ei: taking care of his stuff), you'll shed of them soon, specially since you will be moving away, you are so lucky you can do that.

Yep, guess I need to be reminded from time to time.

So he just started emailing me for whatever reason. As soon as I brought up the insurance he is gone..not a word. That infuriates me that he can just run from things like that and I have no other way than email to reach him.

I swear if I knew where he was I would go strangle him.
