Your time with our daughter is your time. It's your choice how you respond to your wife. She's probably nervous about being alone without her; Mom's get that way. You know me, I usually always see the positive.

I get the same thing from my W. Not only that but she has tried to set the itinerary for how I spend time with my kids ("You go to ___'s house for ___'s birthday party at 11, then after that you can take them to ____ to do such and such, then make sure S3 gets a nap by 3 o'clock, then you can take them to the park....")
It is no wonder why she gets so angry when I chart my own course now. And yet she still resists the notion that she is a control-freak.
hey Bill thanks for coming over. Yep, control freak..You got one, I got one..thing is they can't control their own life much less ours..I responded back in a way to avoid drama. In all actuality I'll be taking D where I want tomorrow.. and there's not much STBX can do about it..what's she gonna do?? Divorce me..YUK YUK YUK..
A little update..off work and to the house once again..the guy came to hook the house up to the sewer today..he dug the prettiest cleanest ditch out away from the house and proceeded to the tap on site in the back yard. Well about 15-20 feet short of the tap, he hits this rock about 4 inches under ground..This rock just happens to be between ditch and tap on pipe. This rock just happens to be as big as a Volkswagen..no chiuttt..I left at 7:20 and the guys had a jackhammer attempting to bust this sucker up..
so when it rains..it pours.
Managed to get the ceiling painted in the last bedroom and get the walls/trim cut in..2 coats of paint on the walls on Friday, followed by quarter round along the baseboard, some light caulking, change out one light fixture, take the paper off the hardwood floors and viola, another room finished.
Not working on the house tomorrow. I need some D time and D needs daddy time..

Yup I'd say you've got it all going on. If you can come through this with sensitivity, empathy, and your sense of humor (which you do have)You can get through anything. Sometimes nothing makes sense!
