O my Gosh, I can't type this without gushing. I took the puppy to the park and took along my cell phone, I usually leave it but my mother said she would call around that time. I was sitting there watching him play when the phone rang.
It was Her, I answered and she was sooooo Happy and just spilling her guts about how great school was. She was super excited, she talk and talked and told several stories from her day. One the teacher called on her and her answer was so well studied and thought out that she only had good things to say and nothing to add. I did tons of validating and let her know I was proud.
Here another story that shows my growth. She said last night she met a friend and today before class she and him had coffee. Old me would have been very uncomfortable. I would being lying if I said that my stomach did not sink a little, but not even that much and she certainly did not know. I said that was really cool and I am glad she had a friend. To be interested I asked his name. She said your dork I said "she and I had coffee, her name is...” even better I've grown a bit and he’s a she.
it was great to hear her that excited and happy, she called me before her dad (who’s a Lawyer)
