Woog, the pool will be open for you anytime. Well, anytime between May and Sept.(gotta love Cleveland weather)

The kitchen is great as well. Nice place. You are going to be very happy there.

Just checking in on you. Hope you are well.

Life is continuing to move on Woog. Today I had the home inspected and there were no major problems. Actually almost everything was better than the inspector expected. So we continue ahead with the sale process. I have been picking up things here and there this week: dishes, bedlinens, bath linens, and such. H told D15 that he and I will need to talk about what stays and what goes. I started packing somethings up this week also. Most of that hasn't been too bad, but a couple of times I came across things from when the Ds were little and life was happier. Then I had to fight back some tears...it is just said that we lost that happiness. I know I'll find a new happiness, but I still miss the old one.

As a recent packer and new un-packer, I feel your pain! It will be tough sometimes when you come across things that remind you of the happy times, and if you are unfortunate enough to have reminders of the not-so-great times, too. But you will get through it. You already bought a house all on your own, you will handle packing! Can you have the Ds pack up their own stuff? That would help!

Hi Liz,

I echo what Bbj said. You will manage packing. Instead of looking at this as the end, look at it as the beginning of a new life. Nobody can promise you a "pink" life, but it will be much better than what you have living the last year. Keep your chin up, when can I come to swim in your pool?

I have thought of you several times through this process, BBJ. I keep thinkin, this must be how BBJ felt. You got through it and I know I will. I have to talk to H about what he wants to keep, I can't imagine that he wants much. He isn't the sentimental type. I agree that I need to look at this as a new beginning, and that is what I'm trying to do.

K, we should be in the pool the last week of August, but I will probably have to close it up the middle of Sept.

For me packing up helped me to move forward. I actually got excited about moving once I got the house. It was fun to picture where I would put things from the old house, in the new house. My attitude improved once I had that project to think about...thinking of you!

p.s. The unpacking is not so much fun. You start to realize you should have chucked more stuff BEFORE you moved...
