The new place is out in the country.... something I can afford on my own, without any help. It's not exactly what I wanted, cause I (think I) really wanted more land, but this house has been newly updated, and needs no major repairs.
As for Dick, he is sad, but uses his anger and justification to mask it for himself. I was just so amazed how easily it is to read between the lines now.... I see his denial so easily, as I'm sure many saw through mine not so long ago. I am so glad I had the opportunity to heal, instead of living as I did for so many years. I really feel as though I have been blessed, really given a gift.
