My fairly new Toyota truck was due to be christened and now it is time to do the same in her brand new vehicle. I'll keep my fingers crossed for this w/e on that one.
Yeah everything sounds great man compared to that day you wrote about getting the papers and it was a done deal. Now after reading some of that, forgot what I was going to say.
Well perhaps not great, but progressing pretty well. God will make it great and I just need to not mess up what he is doing for me and her.
My body aches. Not hardly any sleep in the last several days and this car repair crap has been beating me up pretty bad. Hands are sore from turning wrenches. You can tell I am a wuss who doesn't know much about manual labor. Well, time to try one last time to finish off the initial project on the VW. Probably not going to sleep much at all today either.
Man you too! I choose to stay up late on computer, was going to sleep about 5 hours, but got like 3.5. Was going to get up early and go running, but the rain ruined that! Its friday, have the weekend to catch up on sleep. Have a great day man.

Saturday is here at last, yyyaahhhhh! I don't have much time to be on here. I am supposed to be giving blood in another hour or so and I already cancelled out on doing it last w/e. So I guess I had better not hang on to my "life giving" stuff in case someone should need it. Then I will be having to unload my truck of all the posessions that had been stored at my parents place until last w/e. Then it is off to p/u DD15 for the journey to my parents. I am looking forward to the "family" time. Don't know if I will be hearing from my darling. No contact with her yesterday. I believe the way we left things off on Thurs night was that she would get back to me w/ more specifics about the loan amount/repayment that she is requesting. The only other news of note is that while I did not talk to my darling yesterday, DD15 was able to slyly get a hold of her by calling from a different # than she usually does. My darling answered, presumably not knowing who it was, but acted surprised and got off the call quickly saying she would call back. SHe never did. So DD15 is obviously becoming more and more upset by that kind of treatment. It will be up to me to calm her down about it and let her know that "mom" is ok and really does love her.

I am having a great time with DD15. She is sleeping right now, as I should be too. I am sure she is having dreams of conning me into buying her a bunch of stuff from the store today ...LOL. We are going to go digital camera shopping when she wakes up. I did hear from my darling last night. She called in much pain. She reached out to me and said that she was lying down with her head packed in ice due to a bad migraine. She was by herself as her ex and her D had taken a w/e trip somewhere. I did my best to comfort her. I reiterated to her that I am her best friend and that I would help her in any way she needed. I told her to not hesitate to call me again if the pain did not let up or got worse. She just said that the terrible headache was from all the "stress" she is under. I did not receive another call ..yet.

My D has expressed interest in some shopping when she gets back from Nebraska, so I will pick up the kids from the airport and take them shopping. She said she needs some new volleyball shoes, but I am sure she will find much more stuff she "needs" when we get there! S will of course want a new toy, which I already got him for his return. He loves matchbox cars so I bought him a playset which should make him happy.
