I can say burrito, enchilada, chimichanga, chorizo, carne asada, and chile relleno! So I'm set, Spanish wise!

Jeff,

On the mexican theme, some grilled peppers and chicken fajitas would be great when you go out to grill...

I am thinking she enjoyed the mirror message.

I would LOVE if my H left me little post-it notes in random places (around the house, in my car, etc). I often used to stick notes in my H's suitcase when he would go out on business, and he has kept them all...

My h and met when we were on our summer holidays from uni working at the Royal Albert Hall and he used to leave me notes in my locker for me to get when I was on my break. I kept them and had forgotten I had them and then pulled one out of my wallet the other day and then found one when I was tidying my jewellery box. They made me smile!

Notes are great! A really lovely idea!

We might just have to have chicken fajita tomorrow! Tonight we are using some Christmas gift gift cards, and heading to Macaroni Grill!

These notes are sounding like a better idea all the time! I appreciate the help and suggestions from all of you!

Have a great night at Macaroni Grill. I love that place.

I found a note a couple of months ago my H had written to me when we were dating. I don't know how it survived all these years and moves and being shoved into boxes. I cried like a baby when I found it. I put it in my jewelry box to keep it safe from now on. I will treasure that forever as a great memory of the love we once shared.

Make sure some of your notes are on paper Jeff. Even though you say your wife doesn't have a sentimental bone in her body, I'll bet you're wrong about that.

I am SO proud and impressed! If your wife hated the little note on the mirror, I'm sure she would have sent you a message. Keep it up, sweet man!

Hope your dinner was wonderful.

Have a fantastic Sunday.

P.S. My husband has a box in our bedroom where he keeps all the little notes I wrote him... and it doesn't have a padlock on it!

OK, so we went out, and had a very nice dinner. The gift cards helped a lot! On the way home we stopped at Target, to look for some storage containers for some of W's quilting stuff. While she was looking for that, S13, S10, and I wandered a bit, S13 wanted to see if they had Rockband for the PS2. They did, and he checked out the price. Then he mentioned it to W. this set her off on how much he plays electronics, and how he doesn't draw anymore. He said he doesn't draw because she was trying to direct his drawing, and tell him what to draw. (I don't know the facts, here. But, it would kind of fit her controlling nature.) Anyway, a Target she found out that they didn't have what they wanted there, but did at another one on the way home, so we were going to stop there. In the middle of the argument with S13, she decided she just wanted to go straight home. So, in a typical fashion, she "punished" herself, and now will be able to blame S13 for her not having gotten what she wanted. She won't say anything, but I am sure that's how it works. About half way home S13 apologized to her. She said, "It's ok, but we have to talk about it later."

So, there you go!
