Hi Jeff. I hope you had a fabulous 4th!

Now I have to think! Two days in a row, and then a break, or wait a day. Oh, my!

I think I will wait and write to the boys on the first day of school. We are on a really weird schedule here, so it's only 10 days from now!

Julia, I'll find a recipe, and post it on your thread tonight, or tomorrow morning. Probably chocolate chip, just because! I don't remember what you call a liquid cup! So I might have to do some figuring, to make sure we are on the same page!

We'll be going to see fireworks in a while, hopefully it won't get rained out, there are storms about! Don't know if S18 is going with us or not, he's working, and says he is tired. (Being up til after 2 might have something to do with that!)

Well, W, S13, S10, and I went to see fireworks, or tried!

We got to our vantage point about 10 minutes before they were scheduled to start, and waited, and waited. We started to leave, but called S18, who checked online, and found that they had been delayed to 9:35, so we waited some more. At about 9:45 we heard on the radio that they were supposed to start in 15 minutes. W has to work tomorrow, and be out of the house by 6:15. At that point we were looking at getting home at 11:30 or so, which wasn't going to work, so we left. They started at 9:50, and we saw some from the car as we drove. They had been delayed by a storm that went through before we got down there. We did see, from a distance, a lot of other displays around town, so that was kind of neat.

Still debating writing on the mirror tonight. Heard W tell kids that they are supposed to clean the bathroom tomorrow, but not the mirror. But she hasn't said a word about it. Hmmm...

I don't know! I'm sure we thought they were, and I even expect that they were, at one time. Did they change? Did we change? Or course, I expect we all change. It seems hard to accept the types of changes we seem to see though, doesn't it?

I would personally love to get rainbow messages on the mirror every day, but at the moment I would just settle for a PMA type conversation with h that was non-R related where he was actually trying to be friendly.
