Americans tend to be a bit more skittish about nudity than most of the world. The military even more so, other than communal showers, but VERY conservative about mixed gender nudity. So, it did give me a little bit of stress.

But my readiness NCO does not think the pictures themselves to be a big deal, nor do I.

Yes, OW would have access to those pics. But I am not sure she would have the knowledge to send them to him.

My readiness NCO and Jeff and (eventually) I all came to the same conclusion - any reaction, positive or negative, would be what they wanted.

I may eventually talk to him, but I am going to wait and see for now.

This person, whoever it is, is obviously looking for a reaction. Me e-mailing them back proves two things - they had the right e-mail address and it's active, and that they got under my skin. Neither of which I want them to know right now.

No, these pictures aren't up on some photobucket or other website for all the world to see as far as I can tell. So yeah, pretty much H, OW, or one of his roommates are the likely culprits. Knowledge-wise, kinda points to H.

Frankly, it feels like the same bullying/threatening crap he pulled on me about signing the summary dissolution.

And I'm not going to give him the reaction he's looking for.

Woke up to some rather amusing e-mails this morning. One e-mail from my readiness NCO which included a comment/compliment about the pictures lol, and then an apology from last night, and another apology sent first thing this AM. I was asleep for all that lol. I didn't really see it as a big deal though.

But today will be good. I have lunch plans with MIL, and then probably get out of here pretty early and I have tomorrow to be lazy and grill and drink and eat!

My H is German, and he says Americans are very puritanical. They are very different in Europe, growing up around nudity is not a big deal. They have bath houses and saunas, and every is naked. We, apparently, are the only ones who think that the human body is disgusting and deserves to be covered.

Hahaha. Yes it was totally nude. The average age there was around middle lol. So, other than my H, can't say I really looked much.

It's almost shocking how easy it is to adjust the first time. After 20 minutes you realize that it's just a body, people come in all shapes and sizes and colors, and that there is absolutely nothing different about carrying on a conversation with someone in a hammock naked than in a bathing suit. It's weird because it feels like it SHOULD be strange...but it's not.
