It was 44 here last week!

When we lived in England, we were amused at what was considered "hot" there! But then again, without AC in a lot of shops, homes, and cars, it IS hot!

Yeh, seriously the tube just gets awful sometimes. They've just experimented with putting a 'big fan' in one of the stations but everyone complained they got blasted and it was too cold! :-)

I vote for London! One of my favorite cities in the world! I have two tickets that seriously are burning a hole in my pocket!! I have to use them before the end of next March. I would love to have a little DB in person European vacation!!!

Our fire doesn't have as much smoke this morning. I don't think there was enough rain last night to matter, but maybe the wind blew it back onto itself? Or it's just hiding behind a ridge... But I think I saw some smoke from a different place in the same group of mountains, so perhaps the lightning yesterday started another one.

Hey Jeff,

Forgot to mention that I heard on the radio this morning that BBQing is cooking something on the barbeque that takes longer than 20 minutes... so that you get the smoked barbeque flavour. Anything that takes less than that is supposedly grilling. So if the bbq is on I am good with either BBQ'd meat or grilled meat.. it all tastes great to me!
