Hey all! Happy late 4TH!!! Thankk you all for keeping up with the thread and the sitch.
Well, kids are gone from the 2nd of July to the 15th of July with their mom, for a vacation down in Texas, visiting with their Grandparents.
Here??? Well, it has been a nice full week of R&R...BBQ's, late nights and great together time with TRIP. Shopping, eating, lounging around, and sleeping in have been the daily menu. MWAH!!! to her!
Kids will be with me after they get back from their trip. EX says, up until that time, "they are just spending time with me." BS!!! They have been living with me since the beginning of June. They have been with me full-time since the last day of school, 13 June. She still gets payment and uses it as she sees fit...and, won't agree to sign squat till they get back, insuring her at least another payment before she leaves the country...which, BTW, cannot come soon enough. The best part? She wants the paperwork to state that I will have them 51% of the time and her, 49%....uh, HELLO???? They will be with me 100% of the time and, have been since beginning of June, from now on! Now how does that fly???? I need to get with someone on this because the comment she made was abpout something in payments to me that sounded fishy, and I am thinking that it is so she will pay BARE minimum to me.....AND, she hasn't bought SQUAT for the kids since the end of May. Nice mother, huh?
So, anyhow, I am thoroughly PO'd about this and will make sure that me and the kids don't get the short-end of the stick with this "deal". What a crock. And, to top things off, I got rear-ended about a week ago, with minimal damage to my car...just a little roughed up paint to the bumper...but still....
I see TRIP is only a few digits away from catching and surpassing my numbers here....hhhmmmmmmm.....how am I suppose to compete with this pressure??!!!! (LOL!!!)
Yeah...different shift....swings! Blech!!!! First time ever on it. Not bad on getting out of the office but, man...I miss the best part of the day...along with the heat in comfortable clothes....try wearing our uniform around while you know in the back of your mind you should be in shorts and a t-shirt!!!
Well, let's see...countdown is on track for EX to be out of the states in about 2and half weeks I believe....Tuesday, 15th...kids are back home....MY home....OUR home!!!! They are not having the greatest of times down there with EX's side of the family....the kids are older and feel trapped down there. They were basically forced into going...I told them also that they should go because next year, they may not WANT to go down there....S16 (17 next month!!!) will be working and wouold have been this year but EX FUBAR'd that one....he is missing out on camping trips with his friends...BUT told them that they better have one when he gets back...heck, he still has over a month of vacation left!!!
D14 (15 next month!~!!!) feels out of place down there. She called yesterday to let me know how things were going and didn't sound good. The EX's fake husband and I guess her too, have been putting her down and she even went to her room crying. They have been doing this since D14 moved in with them last year. What a pair....she'll pay in the end. But, on a lighter note, kids will be back and we can start from scratch without any interruptions from the EX after she leaves....start to build up D14 and get her on the right track....I know....no easy deed!!! But, I will give it my all. TRIP is a great help...when she is here...she sees stuff...different angles...and being ALL woman....she helps me when I don't catch these things...tahnk god for her.... MWAH!!! Ya Naughty Girl!!!!
Other than that, creating a new environment is pretty good so far...just wish I had more money and more time.....So much to buy...so little time!!!!!!
Yeah!!! EXACTLY!!!! Ya know what I mean....I didn't grow up with a sister and not saying that it is an excuse....but just hard to relate to a younger woman (my daughter....younger woman....god help me!!!!) but is does CERTAINLY help to have someone like TRIP to point out the FEMALE obvious since our horse blinds are, well....not the greatest sunglasses if you know what I mean.
