thank you so much for all of your help and advice!!! I decided to sleep on it, and then this morn I called a friend of mine who used to be a WA and is now married to the man she WA'd from. Then while we were discussing, I got a text from B:

positives: -he got back to me before I did anything else -he texted me before he got back home -he offered most of his entire week, so he must actually want to see me -he apologized for the delay -the "see you soon!" is very positive and friendly
HOORAY!!!!! So now, how to respond???
The only way I could do sun or mon lunch is if he was willing to come out to NJ. I could do wed or thurs after 6.30 something in the city.
I am just about to go into the city to spend the day with some friends (there might even be an 80's dance party) but I wanted to check in with you guys before doing anything.
I was thinking maybe I could text/email him something like this: "B, thanks for the picture! how was the game? I hope you had tons of fun partying with felix. If you were up for coming out to chatham, [nj] I could do lunch on sun or mon. Otherwise I could meet you after 7ish in the city on wed. I'm really looking forward to seeing you!"
If it's an email, I thought about sending him this link b/c it is hilarious and makes biking around in NYC look like SO MUCH FUN: flight of the concords
One more question... can I ASK him if he will be in NYC after the 14th? I do not really need to stick around if he is not. I can't tell from what he said if he is going to be out of town, or just in town and on the busy side.

I wouldn't ask him if he's in NY after the 14th- if you're seeing him on Wednesday at the latest, you can ask him then. Can you wait?

OMG I was in the middle of texting him back something along the lines above and just sent me a text right now that says:
"So I'm back, and i am still up 4 meeting. it's prob not easy to leave Lyrica fest! but i can meet you ton[ight] at 7. Tom[orrow] eve is not good. What about after L[yrica] F[est]?"
Should I jump at the chance to meet him tonight? I was planning to get my lip waxed, wash my hair and my dress, and pluck my chin hairs prior to meeting! Or, should I ask him when he's around after the 14th?? WHAT DO I DOOOOOOOOO???????????
I just sent a text that said: "Cool! If you're still free I could get to penn station nyc tonight by 737 pm or 841 pm. Where would be a good place to meet? Looking forward to it!"
I can't believe I'm doing this... now i gotta see what I can do about my lip & finding a beta blocker....

I'm really regretting leaving my PC this afternoon now! I totally agree with the Where and the Handsome one about it enabling you to arrange another meeitng after Lyrica if things go that way too.
Deep breaths, get that lip sorted (!) and just remember to be fun, happy, lovely you. No OR talks, think of it as a first date and take it from there. I'll be thinking of you!!
