It's definitely a Monday. I tried to kill my computer by spilling water. Luckily the only thing in real danger was the keyboard and I got that out of the way.
The whole thing was just a bit strange. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Dinner and going to the movie at the theatre felt VERY date-like and he was pretty chatty and we got along well. No real touching going on though.
There were these kids at the next table - we sat outside so they were running around a bit. They were fairly well-behaved and totally cute. I forget sometimes how great my H is with kids - the little girl stopped to talk to him after he commented on the little dog/cat/sheep thing she was dragging around. Kids just gratitate towards him and he loves being in a teaching role and has a patience with children he lacks with adults sometimes. Lol. He'll make a really great dad some day.
And houses came up again in conversation. Still in a very distinctly separate context - how we each want to buy a house and are even on the same timeline. But of course we're not looking together.

Not yet...keep the faith. You guys are having dinner and a movie...that is progress.
I read alot of that book the Dance of Fear over the weekend, and the author was great, she said that if you take giant steps instead of baby steps, in the long run you end up right back where you started.
(((Michelle))) you are doing terrific!!!

There is one hold on that one before I get it. Hopefully soon! Control Freak will probably arrive first. I am looking forward to reading both of them though.
That's true, I'm looking at buying a house in 10-12 months. So, if so much can change in a month or two, just thinking about what can change in a year is mind-boggling. Just thinking about what has happened in the last year is still strange lol.
3 more hours at work......

I just remembered something about going to the movie. They were taking donations for a boys and girls club that H used to participate in as a kid. So he donated a dollar.
As we were walking in, I commented that I had never heard of them before. He said he used to do stuff with them, then commented that he liked to donate when he came to the theatre and had done so when he last came with "what's-her-name". I didn't ask who he meant.
I can't figure out if he was testing my reactions, or if he really was relaxed and that just slipped out. Cuz I can only think he meant OW....
