Holy Smokes....I think about how I could easily miss something important because I am not receptive to it.

I wonder how much I am expecting the worse and second guessing anything nice.

I just don't think I'll ever hear the depth of remorse I read about.

I am more afraid of getting hurt than him hitting the bottom of a rock pit. The most damage this has done to me is the ability to trust.

Know what day hurt me the most? It was the day the bomb hit. Nothing could be worse than that.

In my case, I spent a lot of time watching. The biggest problem with watching someone else is it keeps you from getting in a good place. You end up changing but there is always someone else in mind when you change.

And as for trust, it takes time to regain, but you can.

Hang in there. And think about what you want for yourself regardless of who is or is not in your life. No. It isn't a snap of the fingers, but you work towards it. Hey, seven years divorced and I am still going for it. But the direction is good. I am working on some good projects. They may hit. They may not. But it sure is fun.
