I wanted to add that I just wanted to see if anyone agrees this is a good thing or if I'm jumping to too much hope.

Isn't your focus right now on YOU anyway?

Have you moved recently so that you fear your husband will not know where to find you?

Have you sent him a "F-off" letter recently so that you fear he might think there's no reason to contact you when his head gets screwed on straight again?


Look, you know the answers to all these questions. I think the point our friends here are trying to make is that you could answer this question yourself.


Considering the amount of time you've been on this site, and the enormous and valuable input you've received from some very experienced DB'ers, your post should have read like this...

"H has been more helpful lately in offering help to bring D back home. I also hear that he's been seeing his Mom some lately for the first time in awhile. And he just INSISTED on volunteering in D's class for the end of year party.

I have to say it's nice to have him be helpful instead of hurtful. Maybe he ate his wheaties for breakfast this week, lol.

I am going to have a wonderfully awesome weekend. D and I are going to my family's summer home in WI to be with family. I'm even bringing her bathing suit in case she dares go to the beach (for our first 80 degree day here)! I for one will stay on the sand collecting shells for her while she freezed her little caboose off.

I'm leaving work in less than an hour to go do this ADHD consult with D's doctor. Wish me luck!
